Protect the ball, control the game. This looks a lot easier without an actual defender on your back giving you hell, but the principles remain the same.
It requires confidence to always want the ball and patience when you aren't the chosen option, but the options it creates for you and your team are endless.
Playing in front, actively seeking the ball and using the angle and positioning of your body, is a way of playing that can and should be used in every position on the ground.
Here, the examples shown are as a centre forward, working on combinations where pace and angle of the pass to feet, body position, timing and small deliberate movements open up really effective options.
Depending on these factors, the use of control then turn or a first time turn and finish, are extremely hard to defend against and can provide great results.
