Hand made custom surfboards. Surfboards repairs. Being a tradesman I decided to have a go and make a board.

HardLine surfboards was started because I was fed up with buying a surfboard and it didnt deliver what I hoped. That started my passion for making the best board I can. Custom orders means I create a board for an individual and to their requirements. Each board gets 100% hand made from start to finish. Traditional methods are used as much as possible and this ensures you get the best I can deliver. Life's to short to be sitting on the couch.

Custom fugu 6'2" for Sam.
HardLine Surfboards moved to Denmark just over a year ago. I've started doing repairs and introducing myself to the local crew. Sam noticed my fugu in the board rack and said it looked like a fun board. Take it and try it I said.
I want one was his feedback.
He's currently surfing his new board in very remote WA in warmer waters.

Ryan had another favourite board that's had a good life.
Dhalberg always makes a nice shape.
Updated to his custom need is his new 6'2".
Bit more width to give a bit more volume and planing area.
Full measure of his old board and new templates.
Rocker gauge helps so much. Set the dowels and it gives 18 points of reference.
Fin plugs, custom spray then glassing.
Busy week ahead.

Hi to everyone.
Hardline Surfboards is back in the shaping bay.
New home in Denmark, south coast Western Australia. Loved every day and summer is kicking off nicely.

Back orders have been shaped, glassed and finished in the new bay and delivered before Xmas. I appreciate my loyal customers waiting until I got things up and running. Over a year for some of you. Thanks for being patient.
I’ve started doing a few local repairs also. If you need your boards fixed and you’re now in my local then get in touch.

Jack Reeves, master glasser for many of the great Hawaiian shapers, on Oahu Hawaii wearing the Hardline tshirt I gave him.
I spent a few afternoons with him talking glassing and getting some expert tips while he glassed my custom Brewer. RIP Dick Brewer.
Resin drips show he’s wearing it for what’s I gave it to him for.
Watching him work was a highlight of my trip.
