Proud manager moment yesterday when our clubs first Jnr Pennants team in many years travelled to Cowra to take on Parkes in the Central West section of the Encourage Shield.
Having been a man down our 5 man team took the win 4-2.
Captain Nate Hotham won 8 & 7.
Mason Christie Johnson won 3 & 2
Sonny Newstead won 4 & 3
Chaz Fitzpatrick won 4 & 3
And in his first ever match play Jack Bailey pushed his highly fancied opponent all the way to the 17th going down 3 & 1. In a match decided by a few missed putts.
Next stop Orange on September 28th for the Semi Final. Hopefully we’ll have team shirts by then.
Well played fellas was great to see the way you all conducted yourselves out on the course.
