Congratulations to our Board Members Meg Low & Bree Rowlandson on their Oberon Australia Day Awards.

Our President Meg was awarded with the Australia Day Working Party Special Award alongside her husband Peter. They both invest countless hours at the showground and it is very much appreciated by our board and the community of users.

Bree Rowlandson has been our treasurer for the past five years and was honoured with the Volunteer of the Year award.

We are proud to have such dedicated people on our board and volunteering their time to ensure the showground is constantly improving.

Congratulations also to all of the other award recipients.

✨ Calling all makers, creatives & small businesses ✨

We’re excited to share that we’re exploring an expansion of the Oberon Community Markets with the addition of a Craft Pavilion — a dedicated indoor space for handmade, artisan and creative stalls.

To make this expansion worthwhile (and to allow us to properly open, advertise and promote the new space), we’re looking for a group of stallholders — new or returning — who would be interested in holding a regular or more permanent stall inside the Craft Pavilion.

Having an additional strong, consistent indoor space means we can grow the markets, attract more visitors to Oberon, and in turn welcome even more stallholders into our community.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, or you’d like more information, please comment below or send us a message. At this stage, we’re simply gauging interest and ideas.
