When Rory McIlroy visited Commonwealth Golf Club he was effusive in his praise for one of the region’s most distinctive characteristics, its dramatic, razor-sharp bunker edges.

A devilish short par-3, the 15th is classic Sandbelt golf. During his visit to Commonwealth, used an 8-iron, a wedge and a putter here to escape with par in a north-westerly breeze. For Peter, our General Manager, it's usually a 6-iron and, hopefully, a birdie putt in similar conditions. How do you play it?

While many are becoming familiar with the new Caddie logo, there's another stained-glass window in the Commonwealth Clubhouse that's well worth a closer look. Its artwork inspired our Club House Shiraz label, created to celebrate Commonwealth’s 75th anniversary in the early 1990s. Be sure to pick up a bottle next time you visit.
