It’s not every day the Oakleigh Dragons get a mention in Federal Parliament! 🇦🇺

A big thank you to our local Federal Member, Clare O’Neil MP, for recognising the Oakleigh Dragons Junior Football Club, alongside our senior club the Oakleigh Krushers, and the important role local sporting clubs play in bringing our community together.

We’re incredibly proud of our Dragons community, our players, families, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who gives their time to make our club what it is.

Pretty cool to hear the Oakleigh Dragons mentioned in Parliament!

We are so proud of this little superstar, Sammy K! 💚💛

At just 10 years of age, Sam stepped up this season to play with our Under 12 Girls, forming some wonderful friendships and, without even realising it, becoming a role model for her teammates.

Every week, Sam showed incredible strength, determination and stamina. She gave 100% every single game, worked hard for her team and never gave up.

To finish the season as the SMJFL Under 12 Girls League Best & Fairest is an incredible achievement and one she should be so proud of.

Congratulations, Sammy! What an amazing season and what an exciting future ahead. We cannot wait to see how far our little pocket rocket goes! 🐉💚💛

Can’t commit to a full role? That’s absolutely okay!

If you can only help out here and there, take on a small job, lend a hand at an event or give us a few hours throughout the season, we still want to hear from you.

Many hands make light work, and even a small contribution can make a BIG difference to our club and our kids. 💚
