1) Booking one early wedding dance lesson can instantly calm your nerves and give you a realistic idea of your pacing.

2) Bring a few different song choices to your first session. A track you love on the radio might not actually translate well to the dance floor or match your natural rhythm. Having a backup list allows your instructor to guide you toward the perfect melody and rhythm.

3) Footwear - leave the heels at home initially. Start out in flats, pumps, or socks. Once you’ve mastered the steps, you can transition into your actual wedding shoes.
