What are the fees for wedding dance lessons? Our wedding dance lesson packages are:
"Last Minute" Package
One lesson $100 at the dance studio, or $110 mobile
Get the guidance you need for a memorable first dance and basic moves. "Simple but Impressive" Package
Three lessons $270 at the dance studio, or $300 mobile
Includes a fully, simple, but impressive, choreographed dance to your chosen song with entrance and lifts and dips. "Extra Special Choreography” Package
Five lessons $400 at the dance studio, or $450 mobile
Includes a fully choreographed dance with more advanced moves, entrance and lifts and dips or even a dance with more than one song, a "mash up" of songs and styles, or for some extra polish and additional styling of your dance. At the end of each lesson, we recommend to take a video in order to remember the steps and practice the moves in between lessons. How many lessons do we need for our wedding dance? The answer to this depends in general on what you are looking for. If you are just looking at learning the basics of one dance, one lesson should be fine. However, most couples like their individual choreography to their chosen song and for a simple, but impressive dance routine you will need around 3 to 5 lessons. For a mash up of more than one dance/song, expect around 5+ lessons and more practice time between lessons. Check out our videos and how many lessons our wedding couples had! There's a reason "You Are The Reason" is still the top choice for a wedding first dance. It’s pure magic. ✨❤️

20/10/2026

Top 8 Reasons You Shouldn’t Skip Your First Dance

Your wedding reception's first dance isn't just another detail—it's the highlight you don't want to leave to chance.

It Kickstarts the Party: The first dance signals to your guests that the formality is over and the dance floor is officially open. Want a packed room all night? It all starts here.

It Sets the Vibe: Your friends and family came to celebrate your joy. Watching the two of you have the time of your lives on the floor gives everyone permission to do the same.

It’s Your Only Private Moment: Amidst the whirlwind of talking to guests and taking photos, those three minutes on the floor might be the only quiet moment you get together all night.

It Highlights Your Personal Style: Your wedding celebrates your unique bond. Whether sweet, funny, or passionate, your dance showcases how you support and complement each other.

Dance Lessons Make Great Date Nights: Wedding planning gets overwhelming. Dedicating an hour a week to learn a dance gives you a fun, stress-free escape to focus purely on each other.

It Strengthens Your Connection: Taking lessons isn't just about memorizing steps. It’s an interactive way to communicate, trust, and express your connection on a completely new level.

💍 Who says your first dance has to be traditional?

Emily & Lachlan decided to do something completely different — and chose “Be Sweet” by Japanese Breakfast for their wedding first dance. 💃🕺

And honestly… we LOVE it! ❤️

No slow, predictable swaying. No “we have to dance to a traditional wedding song.”

Just a fun, upbeat dance that feels like them. 🥰

If you're looking for a wedding first dance that is a little different, a little unexpected and a LOT of fun, why not choose a song you genuinely love?

✨ Dare to be different. Dare to have fun. Dare to make your first dance yours.

NO DANCE EXPERIENCE - ARE THREE LESSONS ENOUGH FOR A CHOREOGRAPHED WEDDING DANCE?
Yes, providing it’s a fairly simple routine, the song is easy to dance to (not too fast, with a clear beat), you are able to practice in between lessons and the length is around 1.5 – 2.5 minutes long. To make practicing easy, we film a video of your progress at the end of every lesson on your device so you can review all the moves at home!
As a matter of fact, our most popular wedding dance lesson package is the "Simple but Impressive" Package ($270 Studio / $300 Mobile) which includes three lessons featuring a fully choreographed routine with an entrance, lifts, and dips and includes free music editing. No pre-payment required. Choose your package at the end of the first lesson.
