Nyora demo derby saturday night! We came home with the win 🥳🏁. Mario was out pretty early with a massive hit, which made luigis job a bit easier by taking another big hitter out 👌luigi ended up in a game of cat and mouse with lindsay which eventually went in luigis favour 🤌 winner winner! Massive thankyou to everybody that helped make this happen. Wazza for supplying the car, chris for all his help and giving waz a hand twisting my arm to do it. Swifty for the use of the shed and countless hours of help, also seth for jumping in and giving me a hand. Shonzy and tanya for the Hollywood signwriting 🤌. Bryce deering for the cage and fuel cell, made my life a whole lot easier. Nick the neighbour for jumping in and throwing tools around at the last minute. Whiskers for helping both at the track and the following day repairing the damage. None of this would have happened without any of you. And Lastly nyora for putting us on. That was kick ass. Im feeling it now 😂

This right here was the reason we went to the effort we did with the cars in the demo . Young Nashy was only one of so soo many kids and even some adults that come up for photos , or even just a high five . This as well as hearing the crowd chant for Mario and Luigi made it all worth it 🙌.

Something a bit different with both Jayde and Chris having a go in the demo derby at Nyora 👌

Well that’s the 💯 lapper done and dusted and what a mint learning experience against the best in the state .
1B 2nd - 2nd
2G 8th - 8th
3C 4th - 3rd
Which put me 24th on points after night 1 out of almost 80 cars

Final heat on night 2 had a p10 start and finished p5 qualifying straight into the A-main in 25th

Few laps in after a few restarts had a chassis car go to my outside and cut down on me before he was clear ending with us both spinning , I voluntarily went rear knowing we still had 98 laps and to settle into a rhythm and have a good crack , 38th at the restart carrying Left front suspension damage after the contact but worked my way up to 11th before that left front digging in on the right hander putting me on two wheels , decided to out and assess it but that was game over as a radiator hose as well as a steering line blew as I parked it . New motor now needed 😂

Overall though I learnt alot had a ball
Massive thanks to Jaimi , Hughesy and Jayde for all their help over the weekend , couldn’t have done what I did without you guys .
