Last chance to get a team together for the Twilight Triples due to start this Wednesday.

As promised, we have another twilight tri[les comp coming up, this time it is a bit different. Our format this time is the same as the BPL Cup, with each game consisting of 2 sets of 5 ends, with a tiebreak end if needed, this way gives slow starters an opportunity to maybe take out a win or gain set points. The competition starts on Wednesday 26th August and will run for 6 weeks. Nominations can be placed at the Club.

Yesterday, (Sunday), was a grudge match of handicap pairs, with last year's finalists playing off in the first round. However, the result ended the same way, with Noddy and Casho coming out on top. It was good to see several games of bowls played throughout the weekend keeping the greens full.
