Barossa Valley Pony Club The Barossa Valley Pony Club welcomes riders of all ages & abilities. Rallies are held on the 3rd Sunday every month.

The members of Barossa Valley Pony Club would like to welcome you to our page. This page has been designed to share general information about our club and to promote our coming events. Aims & Objectives of Pony Club
• To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sports connected with horses and riding.
• To provide instruction in riding and horsemanship and to install in members the proper care of their animals.
• To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self discipline in the members. As a club we have a duty of care to our members, any miss use of this site will be taken very seriously and you will be removed from this page.

Great rally at Barossa today.
16th August

Lovely weather and a good turn out of riders made for some good lessons and plenty of learning.

Thanks to Cheryl we were treated to pizza subs for lunch before riders mounted up again for some mounted games and jumping practice.

Huge thanks to our Chief Instructor Helen Giersch who always does an amazing job keeping us all in line, and also enormous thanks to Cheryl Simounds for her time instructing and supporting our riders. All our riders are so grateful for the instruction and opportunity to ride at rally and make new friends.

The Pony Club Australia syllabus of instruction is built on certificate levels that enable the rider to continuously develop their skills in riding, horse care and citizenship.
