Located out of Walker Park - arguably the premier ground in the league, the club fields Senior, Reserve and under 19 teams together with 16 junior teams ( Boys and Girls ) in the Premier Melbourne Metropolitan Competition – The Eastern Football league. Committed to upholding the Club’s proud traditions and pursuing excellence, both on the field and within the wider community, The Mitcham Football Club is an accredited Level Two Good Sports Program member and is dedicated to developing well rounded young Australians through a football environment, which teaches respect, humility, integrity, reward through effort and fair play at all times.

Australia takes on Paraguay THIS FRIDAY in their third and final Group D clash at the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Kick-off is at 12:00pm AEST, with the Socceroos looking to bounce back and secure their place in the Round of 32.

After opening with a 2-0 win over Türkiye before falling to the United States, the green and gold know that a win or a draw against Paraguay will guarantee progression to the knockout stage. 🇦🇺💚💛

With the Socceroos taking the field, there's no better time to get into the FIFA World Cup spirit!

Huge night of netball on Friday night. We claimed 3 wins including huge wins for Division 3 and 4. Unfortunately, for other the other divisions it was a tough night with some tough losses but we’ll bounce back this week. 💪🐯

Fantastic to see our Senior Men out at Donvale Football Club yesterday as part of our Big Tiger, Little Tiger Mentoring Program.

The Big Tiger, Little Tiger initiative is all about building and fostering positive relationships between our youngest Tigers and our senior players, creating a strong connection right across the club.

The bond between our juniors and seniors has never been stronger, with the likes of Porter, Gill and Goulding all coming through Mitcham Auskick and the junior ranks to becoming regular senior players for the club. It's a great example for our next generation of Tigers to follow.

We are also fortunate to have a number of senior players giving back to the club by coaching and assisting throughout the junior program, helping develop not only better footballers, but better people.

From Auskick to senior football, the pathway is alive and well at Tigerland and it's something we're incredibly proud of.

Wrapping up Rounds 9 & 10 with 3 wins out of 4. The Seniors and Reserves put in a strong performance to claim the 4 points in tough conditions at Boronia while our Under 19s just weren’t able to put it on the scoreboard.

Our women’s made the trek down the freeway and retrieved 4 points. The girls have been outstanding in their approach to games while being undermanned due to injuries and have consolidated their spot in the top 5. 🐯🟡⚫️

At Mitcham, family is everything. One of the things that makes our club so special is the way we honour the past, celebrate the present and invest in the future.

So how good is this player sponsorship story?

Life Member Alan Searl, who signed up as a Tiger 🐯 King 👑 Member, has proudly jumped on board to sponsor senior women’s player Clare Wallington, a life long family friend of the Searls who joined joined the Tigers this season and is continuing a proud family tradition. Claire is the daughter of former Mitcham player Mark Wallington, a local lad who grew up in Mitcham and forged a very success carrer with The Tigers. Clare is looking to create her own history at the mitcham footy club and is proving to be a valued member of the team and was an integral part of the womens win on the weekend hitting the scoreboard.

As for Alan and Julie Searl, they have been wonderful pillars of the Mitcham Football Netball Club for many years, and their unwavering support and contribution to the club never goes unnoticed.

Stories like this are what make Mitcham so much more than a football club. Generations of families, lifelong friendships and people giving back to ensure the next generation can create memories of their own.

People like Alan and Julie are the backbone of our club, and we thank them for their continued support.
