10 week season - Sunday 3 May to Thursday 9 July 2026

$120 for the winter season ticket

Available bookings on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays

We hope that all hirers enjoyed the 2025/26 pool season, we thank all users for respecting and looking after the facility.

We are happy to report that the 2026 winter season trial will be going ahead. If you registered interest please be sure to check your emails for details. Season bookings for this trial will open tomorrow and an email with booking information will be sent out tomorrow morning - please be sure to check your junk folder for pool emails!!

For those who didn't register interest but are keen to use the pool over the winter, please keep an eye on our page - if there are spots available we will offer these publicly.

The pool summer season closes in 4 weeks (Friday 10 April 2026), and we are canvassing pool users to gauge the level of interest for a trial winter season.

Proposed winter season details:
▪ 10 week season
▪ $120 for the winter season ticket
▪ Tuesday & Thursday bookings only - 6-7am, 7-8am, 3-4pm, 4-5pm, 5-6pm, 6-7pm
▪ bookings will be made via the usual pool booking website
▪ permanent season bookings only (no casual bookings)
▪ start date of the winter season TBC (the pool is having a new roof installed when the summer season closes so winter season start will depend upon works being completed)

Worth noting that while the water will continue to be kept warm at a consistent 29 degrees, the facility is unfortunately not able to be warmed meaning the air temperature will be quite cool.

Please note if there is not enough interest in the winter season it will not go ahead. If the trial does go ahead with enough interest and is deemed successful, there is potential for the winter season to be extended with another 10 week block.

A big thank you to all our amazing volunteers and sponsor, IGA Nubeena Village who helped make our Devonshire tea fundraising at the weekend’s Art & Craft exhibition a success! 🙌

We served over 200 plates of scones! 😋

We are pleased to let our community know that Turrakana Tasman Arts are continuing on with the annual Tasman Art & Craft Exhibition which will now be held over the March long weekend.

Even better news is that our yummy Devonshire Tea will still be served throughout the event, with all canteen funds raised going to the pool.

We are kindly asking for help to serve our delicious scones.

Pool opens tomorrow! 😀
Today is the last chance to make season bookings.

Please remember this is a community asset that is volunteer managed, help us look out for our much loved community pool, respect the facility and other users.

Keep the pool in a clean tidy condition, finish and leave within your allocated time slot.

Check your emails for access codes needed, if not received be sure to check your junk email!

Terms and Conditions for pool hire

We remind patrons that when hiring the pool there are a set of terms and conditions that you agree to. The full extent can be read here https://lionsoftamanswimmingpool.com.au/terms-and-conditions

In brief the main points that we know directly impact users are:

• That the Hirer must hold a current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) qualification (minimum requirement) of an accredited course and be in attendance at the pool at all times.

• The Hirer agrees not to swim alone or permit any family members or other invitees to swim alone.

• That supervision of the pool by the holder of the current CPR certificate is required at all times. Pool supervisors should be at least 16 years of age and must always maintain observation of the pool and pool users.

• That the Hirer is responsible for the allocated pin code number and must not transfer it to any other person.

• That the Hirer agrees not to, or permit any other person to, bring or consume any alcohol or illicit drugs onto School property or within the Facilities, and that smoking on or within the School’s Facilities is not permitted.

• That the Hirer agrees to enter and leave the premises on time, ensuring other hirers are not disadvantaged and that the time to change before and after swimming is within the prescribed hire times.

• To ensure that no motor vehicles are admitted to School property except to the authorised parking area.

We also take this chance to remind pool users of keeping the change rooms clean and tidy after their swim session. There is a squeegee broom provided so that the floors can be swept of excess water.

This is a well loved community facility that is volunteer managed, we appreciate your support in helping look after it.
