Our neighbours & friends at Gravity Eden are hosting the opening round of the 2026 NSW/ACT State Gravity Enduro Series, and it's shaping up to be an absolute belter.

📅 Practice: 3–4 July
🏁 Race Day: 5 July
📍 Gravity Eden MTB Park

If you enjoy proper enduro racing, this one is for you. Expect big trails, big views and a big day on the bike. Riders should be prepared for around 30km of riding and up to 1000m of climbing throughout the day. Make sure your fitness, hydration and nutrition plans are dialled in.

Whether you're chasing State Series points or simply keen for a road trip and a great weekend of riding, we'd love to see a strong SCUM contingent making the trip south.

SCUM was stoked to host Chocolate Foot's inaugural Nowra Shredcation across our Coondoo and Superbowl trail networks. Over two days, riders tackled flow trails, features, jump lines and plenty of progression, all while enjoying some of the best riding the South Coast has to offer.

The feedback from participants was incredible. Riders loved the trails, the coaching and the opportunity to build confidence and skills in a fun and supportive environment. It's fantastic to see our trail networks increasingly recognised as outstanding places to ride, progress and learn.

The response was so positive that Chocolate Foot is already working on plans for another Nowra Shredcation later this year Stay tuned!

💪🪏 Track Work Tomorrow - 1:30pm at Butterfly! 🪏💪

Track work is for everyone — seniors and juniors, families and singles, the highly skilled and the complete novice. All you need is a couple of spare hours (or whatever time you can give), some energy and most importantly enthusiasm. It’s all about giving back to the trails we love 🫶

Our trails are built by the community, for the community. They’re an incredible local asset, available free of charge every day of the year for everyone to enjoy. Keeping them running, safe and looking and riding great takes a collective effort, and every bit of help makes a real difference 🙂‍↕️

Here are a few pics from our last trail work session at Superbowl, where the focus was on preparing the race course for Round 1 of the NSW/ACT XCO Series.

If you have any spare time tomorrow and are keen to help out, please come along to our track work day at Butterfly! We will be meeting at the Butterfly trail head and working on the first section of the loop.

Please bring water, snacks, sun protection, gloves, and any tools if you have them - we have plenty for you to use if not!

🚧⚠️ Butterfly Rd Roadworks ⚠️🚧

There is currently road work occurring on Butterfly Road, impacting access to the Superbowl trail network. If heading to the trails, please park at the Forest Road carpark and use the single trail climbs (Yaway/Wallawani) to get to the trig point (flow trails). When climbing pack to the trig point from the bottom of the airflow lines, please use the Python or Air Up climbs.

We are keen to see this work completed, so please avoid the area being worked on where possible!

Additionally, there are works occurring on the power line easement behind Superbowl and Butterfly (running between Forest Road and Coonemia Road), and we ask that you please avoid entering any areas where there are signs indicating work is ongoing.

🛠️ SCUM Track Work Day – Butterfly! 🛠️

We’ve got another Track Work Day coming up this Saturday and we are heading out to Butterfly! It’s not often we race or work out at Butterfly, but it is an absolutely awesome trail network, and this is a great opportunity to get hands on. We will be focusing on Fat Tuesday (the first section of the loop), reshaping berms, working on some new lines, and creating drainage. This is an awesome chance for you to come out and actually have input on some new sections of trail, so we hope to see lots of you there!

🤩🏆 State Series Rd 1. Wrap Up! 🏆🤩

We had an absolutely fantastic day of racing on Sunday and we want to thank everyone who came out and supported the event. As we mentioned in an earlier post, it wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work from our SCUM members and volunteers, who put in a huge effort to ensure the event ran smoothly and the trail was in perfect condition for racing (despite the rain!). It really is a team effort to get these events off the ground, and we are grateful to everyone who lent a hand! 🥰

Obviously, an event like this wouldn’t work if we didn’t have riders, so a big shoutout must be made to everyone who turned up to race on the day! We are so stoked to be able to put on a race for so many riders, and we hope you all had a blast on the trails! 🫶😀💪

🏁🔥 WHAT A WEEKEND! 🔥🏁

The 2026 AusCycling NSW/ACT XCO State Series Round 1 is done and dusted, and what a fantastic day of racing it turned out to be.

After a very wet lead-up, there were a few crossed fingers leading into the event, but the trails came up beautifully and the feedback from riders was overwhelmingly positive. We heard it all day — riders loved the course, loved the trails and loved racing at Superbowl. That’s exactly what we hoped for. 💚🚵

A huge thank you goes to the many SCUM volunteers who helped make the event happen. From trail work and course preparation, to registrations, timing, marshalling, parking, catering and pack-up, these events simply don’t happen without volunteers giving up their time. SCUM is built on volunteers, and this event was another great example of what can be achieved when everyone pulls together.

Thank you also to all the riders who travelled from near and far to race with us. We loved showcasing our trails and being part of the opening round of the NSW/ACT State Series.
