Firstly a huge thanks to warringah_archers for a fabulous International Womenโ€™s Day competition - so much fun and so well organised! Such an awesome group of women, particularly the younger girls I had the pleasure of shooting with (thanks Anna for helping an โ€˜olderโ€™ newbie out with competition rules ๐Ÿ˜˜). Thanks to my shooting buddy Una for pushing me to do these things, and the legend Shane for doing all the driving today! Oh, and I did alright, scored better than expected, and donโ€™t mind at all coming 2nd to the talented Millie ๐Ÿฅฐ

Iโ€™ve been reading that the decline in our physicality as we age is not linear. There appears to be 2 ages (44 & 60) where our ageing is accelerated. So if you are around one of these ages and feel like your falling off a cliff, itโ€™s apparently normal ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿคช In better news, womenโ€™s mentality is peaking between the ages of 55-60. Weโ€™re getting smarter even if our bodies canโ€™t keep up ๐Ÿ˜‰

Almost 6 weeks since Iโ€™ve shot an arrow - good to be back! Tried something a little different with my anchor and am happy with the results. Despite keeping up the strength training over the Christmas break, my shoulder fatigued quickly - nothing beats continual practice. Time to start hitting some goals ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿน

Thank you KS Equestrian for inviting me to present a Riders Pilates session at your Equine Immersion Clinic over the weekend. Pilates is such a great cross-training tool to build core strength and hip mobility for horse riding. And I hope you all enjoyed the big stretch out after days in the saddle ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ
