Moving your body can help keep you feeling stronger, more mobile and doing the things you love for longer.

Whether you’re dealing with a cranky back, sore knees, old injuries or just the general wear and tear of life, you’re definitely not alone.

A friendly reminder though: if you do have injuries or niggles, it’s important to exercise safely and work within your body’s limits. The right movement can be incredibly beneficial, but pushing through pain isn’t the goal. ❤️

At Thrive Northcote, we’re more than just a gym, we’re a community.

As the winter months are upon us, one of the best ways we can look after each other is by knowing when to rest.

If you’re feeling unwell, have a fever, cough, cold symptoms, or simply aren’t feeling your best, we kindly ask that you stay home and give your body the chance to recover.

While we know missing a session can be frustrating, taking the time to rest helps protect the health of our members, coaches and wider community.

Remember, fitness isn’t about pushing through at all costs. Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is listen to your body.

We’ll be here ready to welcome you back when you’re feeling better. ❤️

Today we’re celebrating something truly special. ❤️

A huge congratulations to Dene on reaching ONE YEAR alcohol-free — a personal goal he set for himself and committed to every single day.

At Thrive, we talk a lot about showing up, staying consistent and doing hard things, but achievements like this remind us that the biggest wins often happen outside the studio walls.

365 days of commitment.
365 days of choosing growth.
365 days of backing yourself.

We’re incredibly proud of Dene and the example he sets for our community. Not because he gave something up, but because he made a promise to himself and followed through.
