NRG - Northam Regional Gym ‘Your Community Gym’

NRG is a not-for-profit group fitness center located at the Northam Country Club.

To join our gym, simply turn up 10 minutes early to a class to fill out the paperwork and meet your fitness instructor! NRG is a group fitness center located at The Northam Country Club (find us in the old squash courts - entry through wooden gates at far side of the car park) and we are a not-for-profit community organization. We aspire to bring you a positive team environment aimed at creating a sense of community while helping you build functional health & fitness. Our friendly & passionate trainers are ready to help you take your fitness to the next level! Our gym is suitable for any fitness level from beginners right through to advanced and we have the support of guidance from our qualified instructors. To join our gym, simply turn up 10 minutes early to a class to fill out the paperwork and you are good to go!

It’s almost time for our Annual General Meeting and we’d love to see some new faces around the table! 💕

Our AGM is coming up and all committee positions will be declared vacant, with nominations open for the 2026/27 Executive Committee.

If you’ve ever thought “I’d love to get more involved in our local business community” or feel you have something to bring to the table, we’d love to hear from you.

Whether you have fresh ideas, a particular skill set, connections within the community or simply a passion for supporting and connecting local women in business - there’s a place for you. ✨

And if someone immediately comes to mind who you think would be a fantastic addition to the Executive Committee, encourage them to put their hand up!

Women’s Health Week is next week! Haven’t been to a group fitness class? Do it anyway! See you at NRG - Northam Regional Gym 💪

All the local ladies. All the local ladies. Put your hands up!

It’s Women’s Health Week (7-11 September) and the theme this year is ‘do it anyway.’

That’s an invitation for you to back yourself, believe in yourself and do the thing – big or small – that you’ve been wanting to do to take better care of yourself.

What that is will look different for everyone, but it could be as simple as finding more time to go for walks, or to rest and relax, to pursue a favourite hobby or try new recipes with a wider variety of vegetables.

We all hear the little voice that says ‘you can’t’ but why not do it anyway?
