✨We are very excited to have HAMISH RIDE leading our next JUNIOR SUPER SESSION! ✨

This session is 'Hockey in 4D' and will focus on the importance of timing in underwater hockey. 💪

📅 Date: Sunday 24th May
⏰Time: 11:30am – 12:45pm

💲 Price: $15 per participant (payable on the day)

We plan to split juniors into groups based on ability levels to ensure the session is as beneficial as possible for everyone attending, with multiple support coaches helping throughout the session.

What a weekend 🙌

A huge shoutout to our legends who got out there and volunteered recently at the Motocross Championships with the Dandenong Motorcycle Club to help raise funds for our club.

From parking cars, running food, to being trackside as flaggies, it was long days, plenty of hard work, and a whole lot of teamwork 💪

This is what our club is all about. Not just what happens in the pool, but showing up, pitching in, and supporting each other outside of it too.

Massive thanks to everyone who gave up their time:

It’s nearly time to shake off the day and get back in the water for another fast, fun sesh of underwater hockey.

Regulars, you know the drill. Grab your gear, bring the energy, and we’ll see you at the pool.

And if you’ve been thinking about giving underwater hockey a try, tonight’s as good if a night as any to jump in. No experience needed, we’ve got all the gear you need and great coaches who’ll show you the ropes.

Just bring your swimmers and a willingness to give it a go!

🤿 Competition Opportunities Coming Up! 🤿

We have a couple of great underwater hockey tournaments coming up over the next few months and we’d love to see some Wonthaggi teams in the water!

We’re currently looking for expressions of interest from players who would like to join or form teams for the following events:

💥 May Mash – Hosted by the Victorian Underwater Hockey Commission
📍 Caulfield
📅 Sunday 3rd May 2026
Divisions include A Grade, B Grade, Women and Junior.
A fantastic one-day competition welcoming teams from across Victoria and interstate.

👑 Kings Cup – Hosted by Sydney Kings UWH Club
📍 Palm Beach Aquatic Centre, QLD
📅 June 28–29
Divisions include A, B, C Grade and Women’s (subject to interest).
A great interstate tournament and a chance to compete against clubs from around the country.

These events are always great fun, competitive, and a brilliant way to build club spirit. Whether you’re keen to compete seriously or just want to experience tournament play, we’d love to get some Wonthaggi teams together.
