And just like that, my second maternity leave nears it’s end 🥰🥹
I will be returning to work as of the start of August ⚡️⚡️⚡️

The feelings are bittersweet. I am so excited to be a professional again, to celebrate with my clients again, to watch them win and to physically be a PART of that win once again.

And I mourn the end of what is most likely my last maternity leave, my last time unapologetically taking the time to soak in the newborn cuddles and lazy, slow mornings.

Everything in life is about balance - not necessarily finding the balance (because I’m not sure that perfect state truly exists for more than a moment), but the truth that there must be two sides to everything to keep the world in check.

There will always be good times, just as surely as there will be not good times.
There will always be peace, just as surely as there will be chaos.
And there will always be FAMILY, just as surely as there will always be work.
Luckily for me - work and play run a dangerously close line and sometimes I’m not sure which is which 😏😏😏

I am so excited to be coming back - I hope you’re ready ⚡️⚡️

We've been extra busy BTS lately with the launch of Volume 6 of our 8 Week Challenge, finalising the meal plans and training programs for our new intake of athletes! ⚡

​The challenge officially launched on Monday and we're so excited for everyone who is taking part and has decided to make themselves a priority. Over the next 8 weeks they will learn the foundations of fitness and nutrition, work on building positive, sustainable habits and learn how to apply the principles we teach to their everyday life once the challenge is over.

When we shared the news about the new 8 week challenge, we had a few existing PT clients interested in extra support with their nutrition on top of coaching, so if that sounds like you too, shoot us a message. Coming veryyyyy soon! 🤭

The last 2 years have been a wild time to own a business, especially one in the fitness industry. From COVID lockdowns, to gym closures and reduced capacities, HARD is an understatement. It's also been the 2 biggest years of growth for us, from growing the team to growing the number of plates our clients are lifting, we've made so many changes and have welcomed so many epic humans to the Storm crew.

​With everything going on in the world, and everything feeling so heavy lately, we just wanted to take a hot minute for reflect on what we're grateful for, and the answer is you! Thank you for putting your trust in us to support you in the gym (or at home), thank you for allowing us to play a tiny part in your fitness journey and thank you for trusting the process.

Sending so much love and gratitude to everyone.
