🔵⚪ Game on — our Development Program is officially underway! 🔵⚪

It’s been fantastic to see our young athletes out on the pitch, fully engaged in our Northern Inland Rangers Development Program (DP) sessions 👏

Designed for advanced players aged 10–12, the Development Program is the next step for those progressing from SAP or demonstrating the potential to move into Junior Development League (JDL).

⚽ What the Development Program is all about:
✅ Higher-level, structured coaching
✅ Building skill, confidence and game awareness
✅ Non-competitive, game-based learning
✅ Preparing players for the intensity of representative football

As a key part of the Rangers pathway, the DP bridges the gap between SAP and JDL, helping players develop the technical and tactical foundations needed to progress through to Junior Development League (JDL) and Premier Youth League (PYL).

Under the direction of Club Technical Director, it’s great to see players not only improving their skills, but genuinely enjoying the process 📖

🌟 A strong pathway. A great environment. An exciting future ahead.

⭐ Round 1 Results | PYL Division B ⭐

A strong start to life in Division B for our Northern Inland Rangers PYL teams, with plenty of positives to take away from our games against New Lambton Eagles Football Club

Two great wins to kick things off for our 13s and 14s, showing real composure and grit 👏

While the results didn’t fall our way in the older age groups, there were strong efforts across the board against quality opposition, exactly the challenge Division B football is all about 📈⚽

Plenty to build on as we continue to grow, adapt and compete at this level.

On to the next 💪

🚨 We’re back this weekend! 🚨

After a tremendous achievement in securing promotion into Phase 2 Division B, finishing top of the ladder our Northern Inland Rangers PYL squads are ready to go again 💥

This is an outstanding result for the club and a true reflection of the hard work, commitment and consistency shown by our players, coaches and support staff right across the season 👏

What does Division B mean?

In Northern NSW Football, Division B represents a highly competitive phase where top-performing teams face off against strong regional and coastal programs. It’s a step up in intensity, enables more competitive football for young players and facilitates more games of best versus best and like versus like. It's a real opportunity for our players to test themselves against quality opposition week in, week out 📈⚽

And we’re not easing in…
We’re hitting the road to take on New Lambton this weekend 💪

Let’s go Rangers ✨

🌧 Weekend Update – All Matches Cancelled

While we’re loving the much-needed rain across Tamworth, the wet conditions mean all Northern Inland Rangers games are unfortunately cancelled for this weekend. That inlcudes the JDL Gala Day in Coffs Harbour.

Player safety always comes first, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding.

Stay dry, enjoy the rain, and we’ll see you back on the pitch next week 💙⚽

💙 JDL WEEKEND WRAP: GROWTH, GRIT & TEAM PRIDE ❤️

It was a big weekend for our JDL teams with performances that showcased resilience, teamwork and real progress across the program against top opposition in

U12s (2–3 loss)
An outstanding team performance against top opposition. After a steady start, the group found their rhythm. Dominating possession, linking beautifully through midfield and creating plenty of chances.

Unlucky not to get the result, but a performance full of intent and belief.

👏 Special mention to Leo on a fantastic return from surgery (and finding the net), and Linc for showing true team spirit supporting the group despite injury.

⚽ Goals: Cooper, Leo

U11s (3–0 win)
A complete performance and a big step forward. From the first whistle, the team played with intensity, accountability and confidence.

Even more impressive was their leadership. Driving their own standards and delivering a player-led halftime team talk.

A brilliant example of growth, ownership and teamwork in action.

U10s (3–4 loss)
A tough start, but a strong response. The group reset at halftime and fought back to 3–3, showing great character and determination.
Unlucky not to secure the draw, but a valuable learning performance.

⚽ Goals: Roman, Henry x2

U9/10s (5–4 win)
A high-energy contest where the boys matched physicality and showed real courage on the ball.

Just as impressive was their composure, playing with respect, discipline and outstanding sportsmanship throughout.

⚽ Goals: Henry x2, Riley x2, Jesse

🧤 Finley stepped up in goals with some outstanding saves!

Across all teams, this weekend was a reflection of what Rangers football is about, effort, growth, accountability and pride in each other.
