UTS North Sydney District Cricket Club North Sydney District CC competes in the NSW Premier Cricket men's and women's competitions

The North Sydney Cricket Club was founded in 1858, playing matches against teams like Callen Park and other notable institutions in Sydney. In 1893 the Club became an inaugural founding member of the current Sydney Grade Cricket Competition and one of the oldest elite clubs in Sydney. The Club has played consistently on the famous North Sydney Oval since its inception. In the 1980s the club and community recognised the potential of the Miller St location and worked with the then North Sydney Mayor and current club Patron Ted Mack to develop the ground, enhancing its historical character. The North Sydney Council purchased some old grandstands from the SCG, during its re-development, and relocated them at the North Sydney Oval. Past Players for the club include Sir Donald Bradman, Bill "Tiger" O'Reilly, Sid Barnes, Keith Miller, Charlie McCartney, Stan McCabe, Doug Walters, Trevor Chappell, Kerry O'Keefe, Phil Marks, Scott Hookey and Stuart MacGill. The senior club also works closely with the North Sydney Junor Cricket Club that can be found at http://www.northsydneyjuniors.nsw.cricket.com.au/

We are delighted to welcome Roni Dhillon to our coaching team.

An Accredited Cricket Australia Level 2 Coach, Roni brings over 12 years of coaching experience across club and representative cricket.

With strong technical knowledge and a genuine passion for player development, Roni is committed to helping cricketers build their skills, confidence, game awareness and love for the game.

His coaching philosophy centres on developing sound technique, game awareness, character and a genuine love for cricket—ensuring every player has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Justin Avendano Joins the 7,000 Club and Returns to the Merit XII

When Justin Avendano crossed from Gordon to North Sydney ahead of the 2012/13 season, the Bears knew they were signing a striker of rare ball-hitting ability. What they could not have known was that, more than a decade on, he would still be piling up runs at the top of the order and steadily rewriting the club's record books.
