Founded on April 25, 1888, we proudly stand as the 2nd oldest bowls club in NSW. Our club is not just about the game; it's about bringing people together. Since our inception on April 25, 1888, at St Leonard’s Park, North Sydney Bowling Club has been a cherished hub for lawn bowls enthusiasts. As the second oldest bowls club in NSW, we’ve seen thousands of members thrive, practicing their skills and competing in various tournaments. Many of our players have reached the highest levels in the sport and have had the honour of representing our area, state & national teams. Our greens offer not just a space for play, but also a backdrop of breathtaking views of the city and one of the globe’s most stunning harbours. From the iconic sights of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge to the captivating city lights at night, every visit to our club is a visual delight.

So that's a wrap for this year's Pennant season. Grade 7 finished off in style yesterday with an impressive 9-1 victory against Warringah. This left them in second place in the ladder, not quite enough to make it through to the finals but a strong performance across the season.

Unfortunately the other grades couldn't match the sevens' performance. Grade 3 struggled to find consistency and ended up in third place. Grade 5 had a much tougher time of it, only managing one win and finishing at the foot of the ladder.

A big thank you to everyone who represented the Bears this season. While we didn't have the success we hoped for it has been great to see new players starting their Pennant careers and the cameraderie across all the teams.

As we approach the end of this year's Pennants season, Grade 5 are away at Chatswood and Grade 3 are hosting St. Ives at home for their final match. Grade 7 are also at home today taking on Turramurra with one to play.
