New Year's Eve 2016 - Lovely Bantry Bay for just the two of us! We were supposed to have Justin and Anne on board with family from the US, however, it appeared we hadn't fixed the overheating problem and just couldn't chance it on Sydney Harbour new years eve without a reliable motor. Sorry Rosemary! So a quiet new year us but at our favourite spot - fortunately not far from our mooring.

Oct 2016 Sydney - Newcastle. Slightly longer shakedown cruise and few new crew.

Sept 2016 Shake Down Cruise - Rigging is done and we now have a new furler on the bow. Power plant has been replaced with 2 x 105wh wet cells and we should be ready to go. First of the shake downs to press the boat and the crew for the up coming Hobart adventure

Aug 2016 Just me and my girl out on the harbour with a decent blow but not all that warm. Yet more work to be done to prepare Cape Flyer for the trip to Hobart in January 17

Nov 2015 - Cape Flyer has major rigging upgrade with all standing Rigging and some running rigging replaced. All running rigging now back to the cockpit with two new banks of clutches and an additional winch to help it all go around.
