From up here, you look small. From down there, it feels like everything. 10 weeks from now, you’ll be one of them. 🫶

We are proud to have elevated our membership with Pride in Sport to become a Principal Partner.

Across all the events we deliver and support, we are committed to providing safe, welcoming and equitable environments where runners from diverse backgrounds can thrive.

From our free community events with We Run through to the Pride in Sport Zone in Taylor Square on marathon day, we continue to work alongside the LGBTQ+ community to drive inclusion in our sport.

Introducing the High Performance Program powered by Porsche - a world-leading performance program for 600 world-class athletes taking part in the 2026 TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS.

Just like Porsche and the TCS Sydney Marathon, these athletes will be driven to dream on race day, alongside 39,400 others crossing the most iconic finish line in the world.

We look forward to welcoming these incredible runners from every corner of the globe, very soon.

Pride Zone at Taylor Square last year was something else ENTIRELY.

This is what happens when 40,000 runners and a city that knows how to celebrate collide. Colour, noise, community and the kind of energy that makes strangers go 🥹🥹🥹 on a Sunday morning in Sydney.

In 11 weeks’ time we’re doing it all again. See you there. 🦄

World Environment Day is today, but our work behind it never stops. 🌿

We believe sport has a responsibility that extends well beyond the finish line. The decisions we make as an event, the habits our runners build in training and the culture we create together all add up to something that no single campaign or awareness day can achieve on its own.

From our World Athletics Gold Label standards to Planet PB and Climate Action week conversations, the initiatives are ongoing because the challenge is ongoing. And the most powerful thing we have learned is that culture changes when communities decide together that it matters.

Every small habit counts. Every conscious choice adds up. Every runner who carries that thinking beyond the finish line makes the collective impact of this event bigger than any single race result ever could.

This is what sport looks like when it runs toward something bigger.

Running means something different to every single person who does it. And today felt like the right day to celebrate that.

Here’s fourteen participants on why they’re running Sydney this year. The answers ranged from deeply personal to genuinely made us smile. Some run for people who cannot. Some run to show their children what courage looks like. Some run to heal. Some run to honour. And at least one is running to beat Harry Styles’ marathon time which we fully support.

Swipe for a heartfelt read. We would love to know yours too.

Last week, we asked what you’re struggling with most right now.
🔹”Running alone.”
🔹”Leg fatigue.”
🔹”Squeezing training around a job, family and life that doesn’t pause.”
🔹”Injury prevention” - Niggles appearing at the worst time.
🔹”Boredom of running” - January’s motivation slipping away
🔹”Finding confidence in the longer distances.”

We read every single response and we want you to know that what you are feeling right now is not a sign that something is wrong.

It’s a sign that you’re doing something genuinely hard. You’re re-wiring your brain. Doing something that most people will never attempt.

And you’re doing it in the middle of life. The fact that you’re still here showing up, still asking the questions and still putting one foot in front of the other through all of that is enough.

WELCOME TO JUNE: the build phase 🧱

Stay up to date with our Micro-Learning series (latest: WEEK 4) to tackle these hurdles together. 3 months out now - time just keeps ticking 😝
