Only 1 more sleep until the 2025 Moorpanyal 1000.
We only have a couple of spots left to register at the event but you will need to get in early. Registration tent opens at 7:45, race starts at 09:00 sharp.

If swimming isn't your thing - feel free to come down and cheer everyone on!

Hello everyone, well its just about that time of the year when Hollidays Heroes hit the water for the annual swim series held at St Helens at the End of BAY STREET in Rippleside. Come down on Monday evening at 5:45 for a 6:00 pm start for your choice of distances, 200, 600 or 1 km(other distances can be arranged). Our first event on Monday the 2nd of December then each and every Monday night whenever possible. Hope to see the regulars and some new people as well, you dont have to be a member if you want a swim or some swimming advice from a local coach or just meet a whole lot of new people who enjoy a swim in our lovely BAY.

Last weeks Hollidays Heroes results and a reminder this is our last swim for this summer season in the BAY, dont forget you can always go for a swim in our beautiful bay and we will be back in the first week of December. I am looking for an indoor pool for the winter period for training and stroke correction.

Hollidays Heroes swam from Cunningham pier to St Helens on Sunday the 17th, the weather and conditions were perfect; swimmers went from jetty to jetty stopping each time to allow for all participants to start each leg together. Times were collated for the final journey and here are the results.

Hollidays Heroes Results for this week. A nice evening at St Helens saw 5 starters as we welcome a new swimmer to the group.

Due to the extreme weather conditions this weekend our Big swim from Cunningham pier to St Helens will be postponed until the 17th of March, the high Temps with expected High winds is not an ideal situation for a successful day. The swim on the 17th will start by meeting at St Helens at 8.00 am and transporting people down to Cunningham pier we will then swim back in stages. The first stage is to Western Beach yacht club pier (approx 500 mtr) we will then wait for all to arrive then commenc the second stage to Western Beach; Griffins gully (approx 750mtr) then wait again for all to arrive then to Rippleside pier (approx 750mtr) again waiting for all to arrive and then our final stage to St Helens (approx 750 mtr). People are welcome to do all stages or just on if they want.

Remember this weekend keep yourselves safe enjoy a swim if you like but be careful of the heat. We will be swimming on Monday evening at St Helens as normal from 5:45 pm all welcome.
