What a weekend of racing!

A huge congratulations and thank you to all our club members, riders, and families who travelled away for the weekend at Kadina and Crystal Brook.

To everyone who braved the challenging conditions at Kadina, thank you for your patience, understanding, and positive attitude when the difficult decision was made to cancel the meeting. Your support and good sportsmanship were greatly appreciated. A huge thank you to the Kadina Club and volunteers for giving it their all in difficult circumstances. We know how much work goes into hosting an event, and while the weather had other ideas, your efforts did not go unnoticed. We will be back!

Kadina is currently working on a new date for the meeting, and we will advise everyone as soon as further information becomes available.

Then it was on to Crystal Brook, where we were treated to a brilliant day of racing. It was fantastic to see so many riders out on the track giving their best and representing our Club with pride.

Thank you to all the parents, volunteers, officials, and supporters who helped make the weekend possible. Your commitment and dedication to our sport are what make weekends like these so special.

Well done to everyone involved – a weekend that showcased resilience, sportsmanship, and great racing.

πŸ… Officials: The Backbone of Our Sport πŸ…

When people think of our sport, they see the riders, the bikes, and the race day action. What they don’t always see is what makes it all possible β€” the officials working behind the scenes.

No officials = no events.

Officials keep everything safe, fair, and running to the rules. They are essential to every single race day.

It starts with the Level 1 Operating Official Course, completed online. This is the entry point into officiating and provides the basic knowledge needed to get involved at club level.

From there, experience is built on the ground β€” assisting at events, learning how things run, and developing real understanding of race operations.

As officials grow, they can move into key roles such as Steward, Clerk of Course, Technical Officer, or Race Secretary. Each pathway has its own training and accreditation to build the skills needed for that role.

With experience comes responsibility β€” stepping up, supporting event delivery, and applying knowledge in real situations.

As our sport evolves, so do our standards. Experienced officials who have been in the sport for many years are now required to complete updated online training and accreditation to ensure everyone is aligned with current rules, systems, and best practice.

It’s all about consistency, safety, and keeping our sport moving forward.

Whether brand new or long-serving, every official plays a vital role in making events happen.

A huge thank you to all our officials β€” past, present, and future. Your time, effort, and commitment keep our sport alive.

🏁πŸ”₯ **ROUND 2 RESULTS & PHOTOS** πŸ”₯🏁

What a fantastic day of racing at Round 2!

Despite senior rider numbers being a lot lower than usual, the day exceeded expectations considering the weather we had leading into the event. A huge credit goes to everyone involved for making the day such a success.

The track held up incredibly well, although a few sections were a bit muddy, making it hard work for our Demo and 50cc riders. That didn't stop them from giving it their all and putting on some great racing!

It was awesome to see riders of all ages out there battling the conditions, showing determination, skill, and plenty of grit. The racing was exciting from start to finish, and the atmosphere around the track was fantastic.

A massive thank you to our volunteers, officials, sponsors, riders, families, and supporters. Events like these simply wouldn't happen without your ongoing support and dedication.

Huge thanks must go out to Kain Kemp for stepping into first aid role and Kieren Cook for his amazing snaps of the day . Dont forget to hit him up for photo packages !
