MOST IMPROVED MALE SWIMMER OF THE TERM – LINCOLN! 🏅

I have had the absolute pleasure of teaching Lincoln since he was just six months old. He is now nearly five, which means I have watched him learn, grow and shine for almost four and a half years. When you teach a child for this long, they truly become like family. 💙

Lincoln swims with me all year round and never takes the winter season off, which has helped him improve so quickly. He is an absolutely beautiful swimmer and is very advanced for his age. He is learning freestyle with bilateral breathing, backstroke and breaststroke—and, of course, he still loves diving to the bottom to collect the stinky toys! 🏊‍♂️

Lincoln has made outstanding progress this term, and I could not be prouder of this gorgeous little man.

Congratulations, Lincoln! Miss Amy is so incredibly proud of you and everything you have achieved. Keep shining, superstar! 🌟👏💙

What a term it has been! 🏊‍♀️💦

Although our term finished a little earlier than planned, the children have still achieved such wonderful results. I am incredibly proud of how beautifully they are swimming and how much their confidence has grown in the water.

Our lessons are always filled with learning, laughter and so much fun. Building each child’s confidence, developing their swimming skills and helping them truly enjoy the water is what Amy’s Mobile Swim School is all about

🏆 MOST IMPROVED FEMALE SWIMMER OF THE TERM 🏆

A huge congratulations to our beautiful Maeve! 💙

I have had the pleasure of teaching Maeve for the past year and a half, and the improvements she has made this term have been absolutely incredible.

Maeve swims at our Stroke Development level and completes both a group lesson and a one-hour private lesson before school each week. Her commitment and love for swimming truly shine through in every lesson.

She has been working extremely hard on her butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle, as well as improving her dives and race starts. Maeve is also competing at swimming carnivals and doing extremely well, bringing home some fantastic personal-best times! 🏊‍♀️

Maeve is always such a delight to teach and would happily just keep swimming all day. She truly reminds me of a little mermaid in the water! 🧜‍♀️

I am so incredibly proud of you, Maeve, and I cannot wait to hear all about your results from your next carnival.

Congratulations on being named our Most Improved Female Swimmer of the Term — you thoroughly deserve it! ⭐️👏

🩷A little update from Amy’s Mobile Swim School 🩷

I just wanted to pop on and clear up a couple of things as we finish what has been an incredibly busy and unexpected end to our swimming term.

Firstly, I know I have a LOT of messages sitting there waiting for replies at the moment and I completely understand that people are eager to organise their swimming lessons coming into summer.

Unfortunately, due to some unexpected personal news, I have had to finish this term earlier than originally planned and the past week has been absolutely crazy trying to fit in as many make-up lessons as possible for my current families.

I have literally been spending anywhere from 6–9 hours straight in the pool and have gone 11 days straight now on Monday when we finish this term .🙏working trying to make sure everyone is looked after before finishing the term, which unfortunately means my phone and new booking enquiries have had to take a back seat for a little while.

I did mention previously that I would be getting back to everyone around the end of August, however circumstances changed very quickly and I simply haven’t had the office time I expected to have.

Over the next two weeks I will finally be out of the water and back in the office working through all of those messages and organising our next block of swimming lessons while I’m recovering 💙

Our next block does not begin until Tuesday 6 October when school returns, so please don’t worry — I will have bookings organised before then.

I also wanted to explain something regarding lesson times.

As a private mobile swim school, occasionally I may have several families cancel on the same day. If this happens, I may give the next family a courtesy call or message to see if they would like to come a little earlier rather than leaving large gaps between lessons.

You are absolutely not obligated to change your lesson time.

If the earlier time works for you, wonderful. If it doesn’t, your original booking remains exactly as it was. It is simply something I offer where possible to help keep my mobile timetable running smoothly.

Please also remember that I normally open and close bookings during certain periods, as when I am teaching I am physically in the water for most of the day and cannot continually respond to messages.

I am genuinely overwhelmed and incredibly grateful for the amount of enquiries that have come through recently. It means so much that so many families want to swim with Amy’s Mobile Swim School 💙

Thank you to everyone who has been patient and understanding while I get through this unusually hectic couple of weeks and recover I will definitely get back to you all while I’m resting 🙏💙

🏅 MEDAL PRESENTATION – REUBEN 🏅

This week’s medal presentation goes to our gorgeous little Reuben 💙

Reuben is 4 years old and has been swimming with me for the past 2½ years. Each week he shares a private lesson with his little sister, having 15 minutes each, and watching how far this little man has come has been so incredibly special.

This term especially, Reuben has absolutely excelled ⭐️

At the beginning of the term, he wasn’t yet doing many of the things he is doing today, but little by little, at his own pace, everything has started to come together.

He is now swimming all by himself, paddling and kicking out to me, back floating, rolling over and finding his way to safety. He is swimming down to the bottom of the pool to collect rings and toys, jumping into the pool with confidence and most importantly, having SO much fun doing it 🥰

One of his absolute favourite things is diving down to collect the “stinky toys” off the bottom 😂 and now that he has realised just how much he can actually do by himself, the excitement and pride on his little face is priceless.

Every child develops at their own pace and sometimes it takes lots of tiny little steps before everything suddenly clicks. Seeing that happen for Reuben this term has brought me so much joy.

I look forward to seeing Reuben and his little sister every single week and watching them grow in confidence and ability.

What an achievement this little man has made this term 💙

🏅💙 THIS WEEK’S MEDAL GOES TO WILLIAM! 💙🏅

I am so incredibly grateful to have this gorgeous boy back swimming with me this term 🫶🏽

William swam with me a couple of terms ago and his family will often have a little break and then come back, so having him return this term has been such a delight. He has the most wonderful little personality, he is so cheeky, always makes me laugh and smile, and he absolutely LOVES his swimming lessons 💙

When I think back to where William was only around six months ago, I honestly cannot believe how far he has come. When he was learning to float and kick on his back, he would pinch onto my arm and hold me so tightly saying, “Don’t let me go!” 🥹 It was such a big hurdle for him to build that confidence and trust himself in the water.

Now look at him! 🤩

William is swimming freestyle arms ALL BY HIMSELF across the pool, keeping his head so still like a little statue, kicking beautifully on his back independently and now beginning to learn his backstroke arms as well 👏👏

Even at the beginning of this term, his freestyle arms were still staying underneath the water, and now he is bringing those arms up beautifully and actually SWIMMING! The improvement in such a short amount of time has been absolutely incredible.

He also loves having Mum and Dad watching him and you can just see how proud he is when he shows them what he can do 🙌🙌

For the past TWO WEEKS IN A ROW William has absolutely blown me away with his swimming. His confidence, effort and performance have been outstanding and I could not be more proud of how far this little man has come 💙

William, you have worked so hard and you absolutely deserve this week’s medal 🏅 Keep being your cheeky, funny little self and keep smashing those swimming goals!
