☘️ HAPPY INTERNATIONAL IRISH DANCE DAY! ☘️

Today we celebrate so much more than Irish dancing. We celebrate community, friendships, memories and the people who make this journey so special. 💚

At International Dance Affair, our Irish dance families truly are a little community of their own. Through the highs and the lows, the wins and disappointments, the nerves and excitement — we are here for each other.

We cheer from the side of the stage, help with wigs, shoes and costumes, travel together, sit through long competition days, celebrate personal bests and big goals, and pick each other up when things don’t quite go to plan.

There are trophies and medals along the way, but some of the greatest things Irish dancing gives us can’t be placed on a shelf — lifelong friendships, confidence, resilience, belonging and memories that will last forever. ☘️

From a dancer’s very first class to their biggest championship stage, every achievement is celebrated and every dancer is supported.

Our IDA Irish dance community is something incredibly special, and we are so grateful for every dancer, parent, sibling, teacher and supporter who is part of it.

This was Chiara’s very first Brisbane competition, and she was so excited to attend! She came away saying she had the best day — made even better by some wonderful results! 🌟

Our beautiful Primary ballerinas are looking pretty in pink and have so much to be proud of! 🌸✨

These gorgeous girls recently completed their very first ballet exam, and we couldn’t be prouder! They showed such wonderful maturity, dedication and confidence in the lead-up to their exam, and all received exceptional results! 👏💕

A weekend away in Brisbane for Harper and Cleo, at Feis Lúnasa, Brisbane .

🥈🏆Harper was runner up in the 6 & Under Mixed Championship.

On Sunday, Harper gained 1 x first place in her trophy dance and 3 x second places. While Cleo gained HC in her reel.

Thanks Eireann Academy - Irish Dance - for hosting such a wonderful Feis! We had a lovely time!
