A big shout out to our latest Players of the Match for the latest round. Rookies award winner Sammy had fantastic batting and catching, his skills are improving every week. Rookies ward winner Zander had awesome fielding work and great hits out to centre field.

U14's Player of the Match award was earned by Harrison. I think Harry got at least 4 or 5 outs while playing at first base, catching some amazing throws from his team mates but also a great solo effort to chase down a hard hit ball that bounced off him, then racing back to the base with the ball before the batter arrived!! He was also really brave and showed toughness when he got hit by a pitched ball and stayed in the game to be a base runner for us!

U16's Player of the Match was Noah for being a great positive team player full of cheering and good team talk!!

A big thank you to the Rockhampton Men's team for making the trip to Mackay yesterday!
While Rocky came away with the win in both games, the scores certainly didn't tell the full story. Both games were played in great spirit and provided some quality softball and tough competition for our local players, 1 game against Hells Angels and 1 Gane against Dragons A Men.
We appreciate the time, effort and commitment it takes to travel and look forward to continuing to build the relationship between our regions.
Congratulations on the wins, Rocky, and we can't wait to return the favour and head down to Rockhampton for a few games sometime soon! 🥎

Let's cheer on our latest Player of the Match for last round!! Our Rookies included Austin with good fielding and batting, as well as Lincoln who was a great catcher.

Our 14's Player of the Match this week was by Ollie. He's a young player stepping up from Rookies every week and playing with the big kids. He has great game awareness and always bringing the positive chat out in the field! Glove down every pitch and covering the bases when the other team has runners on. We were pleased to have the whole team there and 5 on the bench!!
