☕💛 Sinkers Making a Difference!

The North Mackay Sinkers hosted their 2nd annual Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Saturday 13 June at the Memorial Pool — and what a fantastic morning it was!

With plenty of fun, connection and delicious treats, the event raised just over $2,200 for Cancer Council Queensland 👏

Combined with last year’s effort, the Sinkers have now raised an impressive $4,200 across two years 💛

A huge well done to everyone involved for supporting such an important cause!

🚨MSQ MEMBERS — ENTER NOW BEFORE PLACES ARE GONE!

The SeaLink Ship to Shore Open Water Swim, hosted by TOWSA, is the exciting finale of the 2026 MSQ State Championships in Townsville. The swim takes place on Sunday 19th July — and this is one event you do not want to miss!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
• Entries open now for MSA members — and filling fast!
• Exclusive MSA member entry until Saturday 20th June, with only 100 reserved places.
• After 20th June, or once reserved places are gone, entries open to MSA and non-MSA swimmers.
• Entries are capped at 200 swimmers due to ferry capacity — once it’s full, entries close.
• Choose your challenge: 1.5km or 3km.

🐤Just 6 Earlybirds this morning focusing on training for States which is only 5 weeks away! Have you entered? Water temp was beautiful. The post coffee swim and pink lamingtons were delicious and, as usual, the social banter was light-hearted and amusing.
