Another big term of kicks, laughs, hard work, new skills and plenty of good times! 👊🔥

We’ve seen everyone put in the work, challenge themselves and keep getting better — and we’re not done yet!

We still have 3 classes this week- Tues, Wed & Thursday, let’s finish strong & If you’ve been keen to check it out, come along, we’d love to meet you!

🏆 And then it’s tournament time! We can’t wait to see our Kickin’ It crew get out there, give it their best and represent the club.

ACCOUNTANT WANTED

Kickin’it Taekwondo Inc is a community-based not-for-profit club looking for a new accountant or accounting firm to assist with our ongoing financial reporting and compliance obligations.

For over 12 years, we have proudly served the North Lakes, Burpengary and surrounding communities, providing quality martial arts instruction to children, teenagers and adults. Our focus has always been on developing confidence, discipline, respect and leadership while keeping training affordable for local families.

Our long-time accountant, who generously supported our club for many years, has recently retired, and we are now looking to establish a relationship with a new accountant or accounting firm.

We are seeking assistance with:
• Annual financial statements
• Financial reporting and compliance obligations
• Advice on not-for-profit governance and regulatory requirements
• General accounting support throughout the year

If your firm works with not-for-profit organisations, sporting clubs or community groups, we would love to hear from you. While we have previously been fortunate to receive pro bono support, we also understand the value of professional services and would be happy to discuss affordable community or not-for-profit rates for the right long-term partnership.

A huge congratulations to everyone who graded today at our Coloured Belt Grading! 👏

We had just under 30 students on the floor, and every single person should be incredibly proud of the effort, attitude, and determination they showed throughout the day. It’s always awesome seeing students step outside their comfort zones and give it their all.

Thank you to all of our instructors, helpers, students, and families for your support and energy today. Now it’s time for a well-earned rest! Enjoy the holidays!🥋🔥

Just received confirmation for our renewal of our schools accreditation and also for our awesome instructors.

Our instructors have been teaching in the Moreton Bay region for nearly 20 years and our Community club has been running over 10 years years now. Our students have brought home local, state, national and world titles.

What an incredible day at Spar Wars!

82 competitors.
Awesome matches.
Great sportsmanship.
And an atmosphere that reminded us exactly why we love this community so much…

A massive thank you to our friends at Ultimate Taekwon-Do Australia, Bai Rui Taekwon-Do, MMA Taekwon-Do and Australian school of Taekwon-Do for your support and help throughout the day, as well as all of the individual competitors who came from other clubs to be part of the event (even travelling interstate!). We truly appreciate every single one of you 🙏

Something really special to reflect on today…
Our very first Spar Wars event had just 36 competitors total.
This year, we had 43 competitors from Team Kickin’ It alone!!!

That level of support means the world to us, and we’re so proud of how much our club and this event have grown together. Thank you everyone for getting behind it year after year!

Another thing that made today so special was seeing clubs from so many different organisations and styles all come together on the mats. It was a great reminder that martial arts is bigger than politics or patches - it’s about community, friendship, growth, and sharing experiences together…

Thank you again to everyone who competed, coached, judged, refereed, volunteered, helped set up, packed down, or simply came along to support.

We’re already excited for the next one 😤🔥👊
