How great is our new LED energy efficient lighting over our two greens!!
The club was successful in securing a grant from the Stronger Communities Programme Round 9.
The lights will greatly reduce the energy use and costs associated with bowling under lights while providing a brighter and safer area to bowl.
The enjoyment of bowling under lights coupled with the camaraderie of bowlers of all ages and abilities will deliver ongoing social benefits to the community.

It was great to see four of our novice bowlers in action at Darra Cementco Bowls Club last weekend in the District Novice Singles.
Congratulations to Daniel Gowing, Robyn Jones, Vicki Doyle and David Jones for representing our club.
Daniel and Robyn made it to the quarter final where they drew each other. A hard fought match saw Daniel make the semi final where he was taken out by the overall winner of the event.
Our novices did us proud with some exceptional bowls being played over the weekend.
