🖤Vale Sylvia Blackley💛

Last weekend Sylvia passed away peacefully on August 16th.

Sylvia was a founding member of the club in 1981 and became a life member in 1995.

When discussing how the club was formed we forget that Sylvia was right there beside David in Hong Kong in 1981 when David made a historic decision to start the Fremantle Swan Dragon Boat Club.

I'm sure she will be sitting next to David keeping an eye on the club and cheering us on at regattas. 🍻

Sylvia's funeral is on Wednesday 26/8/26 at 12pm east chapel at Fremantle.
