We’re still standing after all these years!
As the Bowls Club enters is 65th year of continual operation, we’d like to thank our committee, members and North Fremantle community for the continued patronage and support in these uncertain times.
The activation of the Bowls Club has been difficult during the Covid pandemic and the small volunteer group has been navigating the various rule changes. This has effected all hospitality venues, many of which have stopped trading during large periods of the last two years.
We’ve always sought to run the club in line with the club constitution, the regulations and financial sustainability. Mandates continue to effect us with social distancing, vaccination requirements and mask wearing all part of managing the club.
Many in the wider community have sought to capitalise on this and along with a number of Fremantle Councillors to force out the current committee. The building that the bowls club currently occupies is being put out for expressions of interest.
However, we are still here for a while yet and taking bookings for your parties, events and Friday night bowling with friends. We’re booked out for a number of weekends up to Easter so better get in touch quickly to reserve a spot.
