Heaps of help and support available with everyone very welcome - no experience necessary.

Congratulations to the five NBBC players who have been named in the 2026 WA State Squads ... Mark Douthie, Paul Knight, Jerome Clayton (Men's Over 60's), Rhonda Prosser (Women's Over 60's) and Jenni McLaughlin (Women's Open).

Well done to you all and good luck for the upcoming trials!

The Men's and Women's Selection Panels are putting selected WA Men and Women through the paces in several trials to be held in May. All players are vying for the opportunity to be selected in the Final Sides to represent WA at the Open and Over 60's National Side Series at the Osborne Park Bowlin

Don't forget to get on down to the Doubleview Bowling Club this weekend for the fabulous Internations Lawn Bowls Tournament, supporting Variety - the Children's Charity WA.

Wonderful family event with great bowling, food, drinks, raffles and a huge Auction which will be conducted by Karl Langdon at approx. 1.30pm on Sunday. Absolutely everyone welcome!

ANZAC DAY AT THE NORTH BEACH BOWLING CLUB - CLUB OPENS AT 12 NOON

Everyone is welcome to get on down to the NBBC on Saturday for a Sausage Sizzle at Lunch time, followed by Mixed Social Bowls - Drawn Fours.

Sausage Sizzle from 12 noon in the BBQ area ($5/ea). Non bowlers welcome.

Another big event on the Over 60's Calendar gets underway on Sunday with the State Mixed Pairs sectional play taking place at a number of venues, as well as North Beach, where we will see some of our players in action at 'home' including Rinske Butcher and Mike Sweeney who finished =3rd in last year's event.

Defending Champions, Mark Douthie and Rhonda Prosser will take to the Green at the Forrestfield Bowling Club from 9.30am as they look to continue their winning ways.

Monday and Tuesday will see all the knockout and finals games come back to North Beach (in conjunction with the Men's / Women's Singles) so should be a fitting finale for the Over 60's State events with some fabulous bowls being played.

Spectators and supporters are all very welcome.

Good luck to the North Beach players taking part in the Men's and Women's State Over 60's Singles, commencing tomorrow morning with sectional play at a number of venues across the Metro area.

On Monday and Tuesday all games (knockout rounds / finals) will be played at North Beach in conjunction with the Over 60's Mixed Pairs, so a great opportunity to get on down to the Club and watch some of the 'best in the West' in action!

Congratulations to Leonie Wilson and Chris Margin, the NBBC Mixed Pairs Champions for 2025/26 ... 'back to back' wins for the defending champions who defeated Annette Campbell and Richard Hunter in the recent Friday night Final.

As we wrap up the 'Finals' for season 2025/26 ... well done and congratulations to Saturday 1st Division White who fronted up on Sunday morning at Osborne Park to win the Pennant Flag against Safety Bay ... absolutely fabulous result to get promoted to Premier League for next season and to win a Flag, all in one weekend!

Women's Country Week comes to the North Beach Bowling Club ... all set up earlier this morning and waiting for the players to arrive!

North Beach will be hosting a number of Sections of the Pairs competition so don't forget to get on down to the Club to see our Country counterparts in action throughout the day; and maybe buy a few tickets in the Easter Raffle as well!
