On an Autumn day in 1925, with yet another football season about to begin, F.I. (Dolly) Grey, Senior Mathematics and Sports Master at Prince Alfred College was pondering on the future of the boys about to leave school. He was one of the quietest of men, exuding humility, manners impeccable and a quality of understanding the problems of those less fortunate than himself. Academically the most highly qualified member of staff. In addition to a Master of Arts degree, for a schoolmaster, he possessed a second and unusual qualification, that of a Master of Engineering. From this Great Man was borne The P.A.O.C.

A glimpse into the next generation of Old Reds. ❤️🤍

Great to have a group of PAC players, including several from the First XVIII, signing on with PAOCFC for the 2027 season and continuing their footy at Park 9.

We’re looking forward to welcoming the boys to the Club and seeing them pull on the Old Reds guernsey next year.

100 YEARS OF OLD REDS HISTORY
The wait is over! Our 100-Year History Book has officially arrived and is now available.
Written by author Sally Collings, the book brings together an enormous amount of research, interviews, photographs and stories to capture the colourful journey of PAOCFC over the past century — from the early years and different eras to generational families, memorable moments, controversies, opponents, places and the culture that has shaped our Club.

Join us at half-time of the B Grade game, 1:30–2:30pm, as we officially launch the book.
Copies are $140 and will also be available from Park 9 between 6–7pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week and next week.

Centenary Gala | End of Season Dinner

We’re wrapping up the 2026 season and our Centenary year with one big night at The Arkaba.

Our Centenary Gala will be a chance to recognise the season that was, celebrate our players, partners, supporters and volunteers, and come together for one final event in our 100th year.

Saturday 10 October | 6pm – Midnight
The Arkaba – Top of the Ark Room

The night will feature a Panel of Characters, with some familiar Old Reds faces sharing stories and plenty of laughs from across the past 40+ years.

Tickets are $150 full price or $130 for students and player partners, including a three-course meal and drinks. Dress is cocktail.

Tables of 6–14 can be arranged. If you’d like to organise a table, nominate a table captain and get in touch with the Club.
