🧹🏏 THE 2026/27 SEASON STARTS HERE
It’s a big few weeks ahead for the Brisbane Saints, starting with our working bee and official season launch this Saturday.
We’ll meet at Bottomley Park from 10.00 am for a general tidy-up of the clubhouse and surrounding areas, including a few dump and can runs, as we prepare Fortress Bottomley for another summer of cricket.
At 1.15 pm, we’ll head across to 27South for the remainder of the afternoon:
🍽️ 1.30 pm: Catered lunch
🎙️ 2.00 pm: Season launch begins
🏏 President’s and captains’ addresses
📋 Squad announcements
👕 Jersey presentations
📣 2.50 pm: Final announcements and wrap-up
Then, the cricket begins:
🧹 Saturday 12 September: Working bee and season launch
🏏 Wednesday 16 September: Training at Bottomley Park
🔥 Saturday 19 September: Opening round of Saturday cricket
💡 Every Wednesday: Training under lights from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm
The Saints will field four Saturday teams across B1, B2, C1 and C3 this season, along with a fortnightly Friday night T20 side and a fortnightly Sunday Over-40s team.
With the opening round only one week away, there is still time to get involved. Whether you’re new to Brisbane, returning to cricket after some time away or simply looking for a welcoming local club, send us a message or come along to training and meet the Saints. 💚💙
