✍️ LOCKED IN FOR 2027 ✍️

More exciting news for our netball program as more girls re-sign; signifying their commitment to the club for 2027!

We are thrilled to announce that Zoe Bryce, Dalillah Ryan, Kiah Howden and Mim Brosnan will all be back for our Centenary year. Considering that all four of these players were new to the club in 2026, it’s so exciting to know they are back and ready for more next season!

This crew brought a lethal mix of versatility, experience, and court smarts across every third in C Grade this year. From Kiah’s steady hand in goals or defence, Dal’s high-speed midcourt impact, and Mim’s leadership and reliability, to Zoe - the ultimate team player who proved her talent by finishing 3rd in the B&F despite an early injury limiting her to just a handful of games.

We couldn’t be more excited to have these four Seagals, and baby Nora, back with the club for another massive year 💙💛

THANK YOU, MITCH 💙💛

North Shore Football Netball Club would like to sincerely thank Mitchell Bone for his contribution to our Senior Football program and the wider Club.

Mitch’s connection with North Shore has spanned several years, and multiple generations, and we’re incredibly grateful that he chose to return to the Club in 2025 as part of our Senior Football coaching team.

After serving as Assistant Coach throughout the 2025 season, Mitch once again put his hand up in 2026 when the Club needed leadership and stability, stepping into the role of Acting Senior Coach for the remainder of the season.

Taking on that responsibility was no small ask, and Mitch gave his time, energy and commitment to supporting our players and football program through a challenging period.

We’re incredibly grateful for the professionalism, effort and care Mitch has shown during his time at North Shore. His willingness to step up, support the playing group and help guide the program has been genuinely appreciated by the Club.

As Mitch now moves on to the next chapter of his coaching journey with another club, we want to wish him every success for the future. But don’t worry, Britt and Jameson aren’t going anywhere as they continue their journey at North Shore.

Thank you for everything, Mitch. We wish you, your family and your new club all the very best.

What a performance on Sunday! Our U18s put on a fantastic display in their Semi Final showdown against Surf Coast Suns, taking out a 26-point win to keep the finals dream alive! 💥

☀️ Surf Coast Suns: 7.7 (49)

The determination, pressure, and heart on display from start to finish was unreal. Massive shoutout to all the supporters who made were there on the sidelines 💙💛

Exciting news for our netball program as four absolute engines of our B Grade midcourt lock in their commitment to the club for 2027!

We are thrilled to announce that Heidi Uwland, Ava Hauser, Elisha Matijevic, and Bridgitt Bailey will all be back for our Centenary year.

Known for their speed, versatility, and relentless commitment to every single contest on court, these four run all day and consistently put the team first. We’re certainly glad to have them wearing our dress and not lining up against them 🤭

Securing their work rate and leadership is a massive boost as we continue building for the future. Glad to have you back gals 💙💛

We are stoked to announce that Oscar Denny ( #35), Unuer Puoc ( #13), Ryan Jacometti ( #18) and Riley Cotter ( #8) have all recommitted to NSFNC and will be making the step up into our Senior program next season!

These boys have been instrumental in driving the U18s standard all year, and we can’t wait to see them developing and wearing the blue and gold at senior level. This is such great news for our club as four of our standout junior talents officially lock in for our Centenary year.

But before turning their eyes to 2027, the boys have business to attend to this weekend! A reminder to get down to Portarlington on Sunday to support the U18s in their massive Semi Final clash - 9:30am against Surf Coast 💙💛

SHORIES REPRESENTATION IN GEELONG NGA 🏉

In exciting news, Jack ‘Gibby’ Gibb - our 2027 U16s Coach - has been appointed Head Coach of Geelong’s U14 Next Gen Academy ‘Emerging Talent’ Squad.

As they commence their program this week, the group will build towards a game against the Western Bulldogs NGA in October!

Across the region, there are young players with blue and gold running through their veins — the next generation of Seagulls waiting to find their way back to their roots. For us, it’s about creating a pathway for our local juniors to return to where they have family history, reconnect with an old club and, together, help recreate the dynasty that once was.

Gibby will continue to develop and refine his coaching craft as we continue welcoming our next crop of U16 and U14 players for our 2027 campaign. Our Centenary year is not just about celebrating our history, but importantly embracing the now and uniting together to nurture the future.
