We got stuck into the reefies on our 9hr trips Friday and Saturday 🎣

Managed to find some good snapper and jewfish, pearlies and goldband in big numbers, tuskfish, amberjack, Moses perch and plenty of trevally.

Finally some good conditions coming up 🎣

Reef fish have been biting well on the inner reefs. We’re having a good run on the coral trout. Plenty of grass sweetlip, the odd red-throat, tuskfish, moses and pearl perch wre all making their way into the eskies as well.

Looks like we’ll have near perfect conditions for tomorrow and the weekend!

From last Saturday… 🎣

Back to back 7hr trips on T2 so we snuck out super early and had an awesome snapper bite just after sunrise until the sharks finally found us.

Chipped away for the rest of the day getting some nice pearlies, tuskies, and sweetlip before having another good snapper bite before sunset.

A few fish from a 9hr trip do D.I on Friday 🎣

We got a nice scarlet, quality snapper, some nice goldband and pearl perch but the sharks were thick! Had to keep moving to get away from them which was a bit unfortunate as we know the quality fish are there.

Looks like reasonably good weather coming up and we should be out most days ☀️

A few pics from a good 7hr trip on Tuesday 🎣

We managed some really nice pearlies, a few longtail tuna, spanish, spotted and school mackerel, moses perch, sweetlip and a nice trout.

Conditions have been unreal with next to no swell and light westerly winds ☀️

Couple fish pics from Friday and Saturday 🎣

We weren’t able to venture too far offshore due to the strong westerlies especially on Friday but managed to find some good fish in close. Spanish are still around, as well as some really nice sweetlip.

Snapper are starting to show up in better numbers with the water starting to cool down ever so slightly. The rest of the catch was pearl perch, goldband, goldspot cod, tuskfish, mulloway and moses perch.

Weather is looking promising for the next week or so! ☀️

Posts have been a bit few and far between due to the recent weather but there’s light at the end of the tunnel! Looks like the winter westerlies are kicking in as of tomorrow which make for beautiful conditions on the ocean ☀️

We still managed to sneak out for a couple of trips over the last week or so and here’s a few pics from a 5hr to north reef.

We’re out for a private 9hr tomorrow with a reasonably good forecast so we’ll see what happens 🎣

A few nice Coral Trout from our most recent couple of trips 🎣

May is prime time for trout! The rest of the catches have been pearl perch in good numbers, tuskfish, squire, moses perch, school mackerel and sweetlip.

Looks like we’ve got favourable winds over the next few days.

May is just about as good as it gets fishing wise in Noosa.

Spanish mackerel are still thick, the last couple of years May and June have been our most productive months for them. Longtail tuna are active in close as well.

On the bottom coral trout and sweetlip have been chewing well after the recent rains, plus tuskfish and pearl perch. Looks like we’ve got a window of good weather this weekend 🎣

Bit of a shoutout to super decky/soon to be skipper Jase!

Most of you will know Jase has been with us for nearly 4 years and has been with me for the last couple as our number 1 full time decky.

He knows our reefs inside and out but more importantly how we fish which definitely can’t be taught overnight.

He’s well and truly done his time, plus all his skippers tickets so you’ll see him behind the wheel soon. Knowing Jase though he’ll still be out on the back deck 100% of the time which is why we love him!
