One of the best things about triathlon isn’t actually the race. It’s the racecation. ✈️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

The early morning swims in a new place. The coffee stop in the sun. The daily ice cream. The apartment full of bikes, wetsuits and race nutrition. The pre-race nerves, post-race celebrations, and the stories you’ll still be talking about years later.

Some of our favourite triathlon memories have nothing to do with finish times or PBs. They’re the friendships, the adventures, the places we’d never have visited otherwise, and the excuse to build a holiday around doing something we love 🥰

Heading into Cairns 70.3 and IM, we’ve been dialling in our swim skills, because better technique = less energy used, and a faster, and much more enjoyable swim leg!

It’s so important to have these kind of in person sessions, and we have such good coaches in Melbourne in and 💜

If you’re training solo, try choosing one aspect of your technique (like breathing) to focus for your session rather than just counting laps!
