The ability to discern inner qualities and relationships -

You don't need to be old, grey or bearded to be wise. Although, these characteristics would suggest you have life experience, have endured stressful situations and well, looks as if you have hard a tough paper round and a story to tell about it.

To demonstrate wisdom one has to call upon one's OWN inner judgement that is informed by past experiences, past lives and lessons learned from others.

To trust in your ability to discern wise from unwise action, you have to be with yourself in stillness and in quiet. Not externally, but internally.

Your mind must be quiet and still enough to FEEL into what you KNOW is the right action to take, not what you THINK is the right action to take.

-Wake up with your first alarm, not your snooze
-Walk your tired ass to the shower
-Turn the cold tap on
-Get under the water and shout
"GOOD MORNING MY NEIGHBORS!"

Neck a glass of water with turmeric & apple cider vinegar, cleanse that gut

Then head to straight to the mat to stretch out your body. Do not pass go, do not collect $200

Once your body is feeling alive and well, sit with your mind in silence for anywhere between 5-30 minutes

What's your morning routine? How consistent is it? If it's not consistent, strip it down until it can performed daily for 30 days

If you're able to build upon your routine at that point, knock yourself out! Just make sure you can once again perform that new and improved routine everyday for 30 days

What does integrity mean to you?

This word came to me this morning. I was hesitant to put this out there into cyberspace as I don't believe my actions have been particularly "integrous" of late.
🙄
However, I have also been working on self-compassion and recognise that I rarely demonstrate integrity towards myself. So how on earth do I expect to act with integrity when others are involved?

I share this because I know I'm NOT alone in this way of thinking.

Sons, fathers, brothers, husbands, boyfriends - join us on Sunday, November 21st for a morning of movement, mindfulness and connection. On behalf of the Movember Charity, David Hardy and Tom Henry are hosting a charity event at Cotton Tree Park.

Come rain or shine, this is set to be great morning! We will start with some movement on the mat, then we find stillness through a short meditation and finally, Beyond Blue ambassador - James Hill, has kindly agreed to talk to us about mental health first aid. 

Following the event, I’m sure many guys will be keen to grab a coffee if you would like to hang out afterward.

This event is open to men and boys of all levels of experience and ability!

Cost: $10 (all proceeds go to Movember charity)

Time: 8am, November 21st

Location: Cotton Tree park, Maroochydore (opposite cafe 37, The Esplanade, Maroochydore, 4558)

Gear: BYO yoga mat (we will only have a few to lend out), umbrella and dry clothes if raining.

We look forward to seeing you there, moes and all!
