There’s a lot of new faces here at Amali, so I thought I might say hi again xx For those who don’t know me, my name is Paris and I’m from beautiful Noosa, QLD, Australia!! As someone who has lived by the ocean her whole life (I learnt to swim before I could walk 😅), by 19 I had spent thousands of dollars buying swimwear. Now you might be thinking, so what happened? Well, after dropping out of uni (my first degree), I decided to start a swimwear business. “Paris, how much experience did you have?” ZERO. I had zero experience and $2k to figure out how to build a business. In April 2021, at 19, I told myself, “I won’t fail unless I stop trying.” Seems pretty straightforward, right? Well, over the last five years I’ve had a WHOLE lot of life happen, many, many experiences and more crying sessions than I can count, all of which have shaped me and my business into what it is today. My two bikinis, the Ozoux and Marie, aren’t just bikinis to me. They’re something that was missing in my life. All I wanted was to be able to do, well, anything I like! Swim, run, go for a coffee, Pilates, whatever. I was sick of changing, sick of trying to find a bikini that could fit me the whole month without having my b***s pop out on day 30 of my cycle and sick of feeling uncomfortable because I didn’t want to wear my HOT tanning bikini while I felt bloated af. Amali was designed to literally be that second skin all the girls wish they had when they need it, but still be cute, reversible and able to be worn in so many ways I genuinely still can’t count. So my new Espresso collection is nothing less than another part of that story. My pieces aren’t just swimwear, they’re pieces made to move through life with you. To swim in, run in, live in and feel like yourself in, no matter what kind of day your body is having.
Anyway, welcome to all the new Amali ladies. You’re gonna love it here xx
(Btw I always say this thing, “thanks for coming to my ted talk” you’ll get used to it when I get mushy)
Love, P
