Attention all Cross Country legends (and the parents who have to drag them out of bed on race day 😆)...
⏰ Entries for the 2026 Region Cross Country Carnival close at 11:00am on Wednesday, 1 July!
After that... the entry gate slams shut tighter than the finish line after the last runner crosses! 🏁❌ No late entries will be accepted.
So don't be the athlete who says, "I thought Mum entered me..." or the parent who says, "I thought Dad did it!" 😂
Get your entry in now and get ready to tackle the hills, the mud (hopefully!), and the glory of Region Cross Country!

🚧 TRACK MAINTENANCE NOTICE 🚧

Please be advised that Ross Reserve Athletics Track will undergo maintenance works on Monday 15 June and Tuesday 16 June.

During this time, contractors will be dry sweeping the track to remove and recycle loose rubber granules from the surface.

⚠️ The track will be closed during the day on both dates while these works are being carried out.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ STATE CROSS COUNTRY RELAY CHAMPIONSHIPS 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What a fantastic weekend of running, teamwork, cheering, and trying to work out whose turn it was to run next! 😆

A huge congratulations to all our Springvale athletes who competed in the State Cross Country Relays. Running as part of a team is always something special, and you should all be incredibly proud of your efforts and achievements.

A massive thank you to Lisa, and to all the amazing mums and dads who spent their weekend transporting, supporting, cheering, organising, and possibly surviving on coffee alone! ☕👏 Your support helps make these events such a great experience for our athletes.

All of our Springvale teams were awesome and represented the club with pride.

And a special shout-out to Gabs' SMR team, who raced their way to an outstanding 🥉 3rd place in their age group! What a fantastic result!

What a morning for Cross Country! ☀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

With perfect weather at Bald Hill Park, our Springvale athletes were back once again taking on the famous XC hills and testing those legs! 😅💪

Strong runs, great times, plenty of determination, and only a small amount of complaining about the hills this week! 😂

A massive well done to all athletes who represented Springvale on Saturday morning. The effort, support, and team spirit from everyone was fantastic to see.

Just a reminder that next week Round 4 we’ll be at Westgate Park!
