Vale Melissa Jeffery 🕊️

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Melissa Jeffery, the beloved wife of Nico Jeffery.

Mel and Nico joined Parkfield in 2017 and from day one felt like family. Their energy, passion, laughter, and love for a good time brought so much joy to our club — you couldn’t help but love them.

Nico has always given everything to Parkfield, whether it be on the field playing in our First XI or off it through his work on the Committee. No job is ever too big or too small — he is always there to help.

Mel was a devoted and supportive wife, always by Nico’s side on game day, full of encouragement and positivity. We will deeply miss her infectious smile, warm presence, and her love for a good time.

On behalf of everyone at Parkfield, we extend our sincere condolences to Nico, Larry, Pringles and all the family. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time, and please know the club stands beside you with love and support.

Mel, we’ll miss you.

A huge congratulations to Grace Lewis on her 25/26 season!

Grace recently was announced in the Souther Bayside Women’s Div 1 Team of the Year. An amazing and well deserved achievement after the year she has had with both the bat and ball.

Congrats again and we can’t wait to see you do it all again next year 😍

ROUND RESULTS 🏏

Here are the results from our Turf 2 finals campaign. Unfortunately not the fairytale finish we all dreamed of but there is no doubt the whole club is extremely proud.

So many amazing team and individual performances from the past 2 weekends that have showed what this team is really made of. You don’t make a Grand Final by accident. It takes grit, heart, and a whole lot of belief. It didn’t go our way this time, but this team showed what it means to fight until the very end.

To everyone who wore the colours, showed up, and backed us all the way, a big thank you to you all.

Not an easy one but heads high and we’ll be back next year.

Here it is! Our team selection for the Turf 2 Grand Final.

It all comes down to this, our final game of the season. Our first XI have worked extremely hard all year to get themselves into this position and we couldn’t be prouder. Good luck to all our players across the weekend as you represent our club.

Going into the game Zaron Chanel will our 12th man and Chris Pond will be our 13th.

We hope to see as many people over the weekend repping the blue and white and supporting our boys as the deserve it 🍻

An amazing effort from all our players this year to get to this point and and such a well earned achievement. Good luck to all that will take field this weekend and represent our club.

Our Under 12s have been working extremely hard all season and have had an extremely successful season.
We finished second on the ladder and are playing in the semi final which starts tonight!!

Huge recognition for our opening quick Madusha Croos, selected in the Turf 2 Team of the Year. 29 wickets at 12, a dominant season leading our attack.

If you’ve seen the work he puts in during the week, this comes as no surprise. His ability to charge in ball after ball and produce under pressure has set the standard all season, stamping him as the premier quick in the competition.

While this is great individual recognition, knowing Madusha, he won’t be content and will be ready to lead the attack again in our semi-final this weekend.
