The Nightcliff Football Club AGM took place this morning, a big thank you to all who attended!

A few key points from the meeting:

Welcoming Ed Smelt, Member for Nightcliff as our new Club Patron, and wishing all the best to Senator McCarthy as our outgoing club Patron.

Congratulations to Peter Stretton and Lou Reeve who were inducted as Life Members of the Nightcliff Football Club - thank you for your contributions to our club!

We want you!

Thinking about getting involved in football this season, but not quite sure where you’d fit?

Nightcliff Football Club is now inviting Expressions of Interest for our Seniors Football Program, including U17.5, for the upcoming 2026/27 season - in any capacity.

You don’t need to have a specific role in mind. You don’t need prior experience. You just need an interest in supporting football and people.
We’re keen to hear from individuals interested in (but not limited to):

Men’s, Women’s & U17.5 Coaching & Football Roles
• Head Coaches – Division 1, Division 2 & U17.5 (playing and non-playing)
• Assistant Coaches – all (playing and non-playing)
• Team Managers – all

Player Welfare & Support Roles
• Sports Trainers
• Physios or allied health professionals
• Strength & Conditioning support
• Player welfare and wellbeing support

Match Day & Program Support
• Game day volunteers
• General support staff
• Anyone willing to lend a hand where needed

Role descriptions are available for all positions.

Our vision is simple: To be the football club everybody wants to belong to, and nobody wants to leave.

Many of our most valued contributors never planned to coach, manage, or run water - they simply reached out and started a conversation.

We will work with you to find the right fit. Support, mentoring, and guidance are provided, and roles can be shaped to suit your interests, experience, and availability.

Nightcliff Football Club is now inviting Expressions of Interest for a JUNIOR Coach Coordinator.

In the coaches coordinator role, you’d help shape the direction of our junior program from U9s to U17.5 and strengthen the pathway into our senior teams.

You’d work alongside our junior coaches, offering support and resources, sharing knowledge, and helping them grow in confidence and capability.

Congratulations to Peter Stretton and Lou Reeve on their well-deserved nominations for Life Membership. These nominations have been officially endorsed by the committee and will be presented for approval at the upcoming AGM.

This recognition reflects the many years of dedication, commitment and service that both Peter and Lou have given to our club – thank you for everything you do!

The AGM is on Saturday 13th June 10:30am at the Nightcliff Sports Club. We look forward to seeing everyone there.🐯

A few of our U18 Nightcliff Superstars Peggy, Amber and Aaliyah have plenty of reasons to smile after their games for the U18 NT Academy in the Talent League! The NT girls got 2 from 2 wins in Melbourne against the Calder Canons on Thursday and Murray Bushrangers this morning!
We are so proud of our talented junior players 🌟🌟 and also our WPL players Lucy and Koda for helping out 🐯
