🌊 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT | U12 BOYS 2027

Central Coast Waves Basketball is pleased to announce Luke LePage as Head Coach of our Under 12 Boys for the 2027 representative season.

Luke enters his second year coaching with the Waves after beginning his journey with the club as Head Coach of our Under 16 Division 3 Boys.

Luke brings plenty of enthusiasm, a strong willingness to learn and a genuine desire to continue developing as a coach. We’re excited to see him take the next step in his coaching journey as he leads our youngest boys representative age group in 2027.

Congratulations, Luke, on your appointment!

UNDER 14’s COUNTRY PERFORMANCE PATHWAY ANNOUNCEMENT | ACJBC

Congratulations to the Under 14 Country athletes who have been selected to represent New South Wales at the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup (ACJBC), following the Country U14 Performance Pathway Trials. The selected athletes will travel to Albury to compete from 10th–16th January, 2027.

The Basketball NSW team will be in contact with the selected athletes in the next few weeks.

We extend our congratulations to all athletes on their achievement.

2027 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT | UNDER 12 GIRLS

Central Coast Waves Basketball are excited to congratulate Michelle Drysdale on her appointment as Head Coach of our 2027 Under 12 Girls Representative Team!

Michelle brings valuable experience coaching this age group, along with tremendous enthusiasm, passion and a genuine love for girls’ basketball.

As many young players make the exciting transition from our 10s program into the Under 12s representative environment, Michelle will provide a welcoming and supportive first point of contact within the Representative environment, helping them develop their skills, confidence and love of the game.

Amanda Lapidoth Makes the National Scoretable Panel for 2026/27 NBL Season!

What's happening every Friday morning?

Walking Basketball! Friendships! Fun! Community!

Every Friday, Niagara Park Stadium comes alive with laughter, great conversation, friendly competition, and plenty of smiles.

This week Waves Walking Basketball team had the honour to warmly welcomes our friends from CRU Walking Basketball.

Because at the heart of our game, it's not just about putting the ball in the basket. It's about the friendships we create, the smiles we share, and the connections that keep us coming back week after week.

A special thank you to CRU Walking Basketball for recently welcoming several Waves members to join your session. Your warmth, hospitality, and community spirit truly reflect what walking basketball is all about.

And of course, no Friday morning would be complete without our wonderful community supporters Cake & Plate, whose amazing treats give us the perfect excuse to stay a little longer and enjoy each other's company.
