Sporting Motorcycle Club Geelong The SMCC is based in Geelong, with a club room at 45 Riversdale Road. Newtown. Meetings on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month.

The SMCC is one on the oldest clubs in Australia, established in 1932.

It is with great sadness i have to inform the club of the passing of our club member.. Al Stevenson ( Guzzi Al ) passed away 1st of September. A celebration of his life will be held at the Fairhaven Surf Club. Wednesday 14th Sept. 2pm. All welcome. RIP Al.

SEPTEMBER 11th COMBINED DIRT/ROAD RIDE

SEPTEMBER 2, 2022

The ride for September will be a double act, DIRT RIDE starting point is on the Rokewood/ Ballarat rd 2klms S/W of Enfield meeting around 9.00am, ride starting 9.30am, if you reach The Little Hard Hills hotel you have gone 2klms too far. The ride is approx 40klms Returning to the start point for a BBQ lunch by gold coin donation.

The ROAD RIDE will be from the clubrooms, meeting around 9.00am leaving 9.30am for coffee at Birregurra via Ceres & Deans Marsh. We will have a fuel stop in Colac before proceeding on through Beeac, Rokewood and joining up with the Dirt riders for a BBQ lunch by gold coin donation around 12.30pm. The ride is approx 170klms to the lunch stop, and about 50klms back to Geelong depending on which way you choose to return from there. NO FUEL is available after the Colac stop until you get back to Bannockburn or Meredith on your way home.

Received sad news that Graeme Osborne has passed away in QLD. He was 83 y/o. The club's condolences go out to all the Osborne families. RIP Graeme.
