Don’t forget to STREEEEEETCH! Exercise is so important, no secret there, but so is stretching! Stretching can help in so many ways, and is especially important post workout (and just in general really)! It can help reduce muscle tension and soreness, improve your flexibility, range of motion and elasticity, help muscles recover and realign the body, and reduce the risk of injury. That’s just the tip of the ice berg too! And if you live a particularly sedentary lifestyle due to work or injury, stretching (and mobility exercises) can be of huge benefit too. Just make sure your muscles are warm and primed (especially for deeper stretches and flexibility training), keep hydrated, and reap the benefits!
