We’re VERY excited, thrilled and incredibly grateful!

Bei Loon Pinks Dragon Boat Team has been selected as one of 100 organisations receiving a $1,000 donation through Bulk Gives Back!

And it’s going to make a real difference.

We’ll be putting the $1,000 towards PFDs for our paddlers — helping make sure every paddler is properly equipped and safe on the water, from training right through to race day.

We’re proud to be a club where paddlers of all ages and abilities are welcome, no experience required, and everyone can find their place — whether you paddle for fitness, competition or simply the joy of being out on the water with good people.

A huge THANK YOU to Bulk Nutrients and Bulk Gives Back for supporting our club and helping us take this important next step towards keeping our paddlers safe.

We are incredibly proud and excited to announce that Australia has been successful in its bid to host the 2034 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival in Sydney! 💗

In 2034, breast cancer paddlers from around the world will come together on spectacular Sydney Harbour for an unforgettable celebration of paddling, friendship, survivorship and the incredible strength of our international breast cancer paddling community.

The 2034 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival will be presented by the newly formed Strength in Unity Trust, with the support of Dragons Abreast Australia.

The Trust has been established with a vision to bring this extraordinary Festival to Australia and create something that will leave a lasting impact well beyond 2034.

There is an exciting journey ahead of us, but today is about celebrating what has been achieved.

Sydney 2034 is happening! 🇦🇺

💗 Thousands of paddlers.
🐉 One worldwide community.
🌏 One iconic harbour.

The pink dragons are coming to Sydney.

WEATHER UPDATE — FRIDAY 28 AUGUST

Due to adverse weather conditions forecast for tomorrow, Friday 28 August, and in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, volunteers and visitors, all races scheduled for the day are cancelled.

Please stay safe.

The festival site will therefore be closed throughout the day. No races or activities will take place, and no transportation will be provided.

We are currently exploring the possibility of rescheduling the cancelled races for Sunday. Further information will be shared as soon as a decision has been made.

We sincerely thank you for your understanding, patience and cooperation. The safety of everyone involved remains our absolute priority.

We look forward to welcoming you back on Saturday, when the programme will resume as planned.
