NSW JUNIORS STATE CHAMPS VENUES 2025 🏆

We are please to announce that we can now reveal the 2025 venues for our signature NSW Junior State Championships.

With the support of The Rugby Club Foundation, in 2024 we fielded a record number of 217 teams across all the age groups and we fully expect that 2025 will be no different.

A huge thanks to the Club, School, Zone and local council’s that support us in facilitating what is the highlight of the junior Rep calendar. We have some really exciting new venues in the schedule this year and are looking forward to taking our teams to some new and exciting fields.

NSW Juniors would like to announce the running of our inaugural NSW Tri Tag State Championships to be held at Riverwood Park, Riverwood on Sunday 9th March 2025.


These State Championships will be open to entries by Club, Zone, District or Schools teams.

Reminder it’s Presentation day on Sunday at Porters 🏆

🏉 Our girls & boys have started their fundraising for the Fiji 2025 Tour 🏝️ 🌺 So come down & support them by having a yummy Coppertree farm burger🍔, buy some goodies from the cake stall 🍭🧁 and try your luck with the raffles 🎁

Girls we need you!!!!
Girls U6-U8s play touch and U9s and above play Tackle. The more girls we get the more teams we can form 🙏🏻 This runs on Saturday mornings and training Friday night at our club. We also have a girls Sunday comp running for U10s and up which will be games on a Sunday and training on a week night, this comp will be girls only. You can register online, but if you’d like to bring them down on Friday the 15th to try out before you register that would be great 🥰

🏉 Major Tackle Safety Changes 🏉

Season 2024 will see a change to the tackle height rule for all levels of Community Rugby across Australia. We’re thrilled to share that the tackle height has been reduced to below the sternum, making Rugby Union safer and reducing the risk of concussion significantly. These new rules have been trialled across the world including in NZ, England, France and have seen really positive results.

Let’s continue to enjoy the thrill of rugby, with added peace of mind knowing that the game is evolving to be safer and that our kids are being looked after!
