Gellibrand Cricket Club Gellibrand CC provides a welcoming environment for girls, boys, women and men of all ages and abilities to play cricket.

Established in 1953 the club is located at 2 Hobson st, Newport 3015.

After a few seasons’ hiatus, Gellibrand’s winter cricket team is back on the park. After a tough loss in round 1, the team got its first win on the board against local rivals Newport - Digman on the weekend, featuring 50s from Jeremy and Joe. Good to get a first senior win for some of the boys taking part. Onwards and Upwards

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Jacob Macdonald, who will join his brother Brayden in testing himself at a higher level next season in Senior Division at St. Albans CC.

Jacob, also a 3 x premiership player, leaves as one of the most individually decorated players in the clubs history, including 3 x club champion, 3 x division player of the year, 5 x 1st XI batting averages and holds the club record for 6s hit across his career.

Good luck Jacob next season and beyond in senior Div!!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Brayden Macdonald for his decorated time at the club as he takes his cricketing journey to the next level, trying his hand in Senior Division at St. Albans CC under ex-GCC premiership captain, Paul Hetherington.

Son of life member and fellow premiership player Bruce, Brayden played 47 junior games before moving interstate. Since his return 10 years ago, he has been a mainstay in our top sides winning 3 premierships in his time and becoming our premier pace bowler. Good luck next season!
